Summer Internship: GTS IT Site Operations Intern

Education Required:

Bachelor of Science Degree In-Progress in a related S.T.E.M. Degree

General Description:

This position is site-based at the BeOne Hopewell Manufacturing Site. This role will support day to day GTS Infrastructure operations and GTS capital projects HA setup; where role will work with site IO lead and network engineer and support network expansion, as well as other assessments such as WiFi strength (heat map). Upon completion of this internship, this individual will understand the fundamentals of good manufacturing practice (GMPs), network engineering, IT Operations etc.,

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Gain working knowledge of IT (GTS) support of Capital Projects.

• Support network engineer to setup network HA between Datacenter and Secondary data room.

• Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with GMPs, SOPs and Health and Safety policies.

• Supports qualification activities across the GMP areas.

• Supports the writing and/or revising of SOPs.

• Undertaking any other duties for any department within the business, which may be requested by Management.

• S.T.E.M. degree in progress

• Working knowledge of cGMPs:  21CFR part 11.

• Preferred understanding of Networking, and Windows OS (server and desktop versions).

• Ability to collaborate with project teams

• Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal).

• Customer focused, Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Hands-on approach, with a ‘can do’ attitude.

• Ability to prioritize, demonstrating good time management skills.

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment.

• Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative.

• Committed to learning and development.

Computer Skills:

• Strong PC literacy required; MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time

• Some knowledge and understanding of Networking.

• Working knowledge of AI Tools

Other Qualifications:

 Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship.

Pay Rate: $27.00/Hour

Salary Range: $ - $ per hour

Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
