The Statutory Reporting Specialist Nordics is responsible for Statutory preparation of various entities which requires statutory data presentation to key stakeholders. Being involved and providing support to centralized audit queries and internal audit deliveries.

This position is part of the global Controllership team with the role located in Budapest, Hungary and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Utilizing our internal Statutory Reporting tool to prepare the annual statutory accounts for entities in the Nordics region. This task includes identification, calculation of statutory adjustments and recording them to ERP and filed by the earlier of the local statutory deadline.
• Working together on detailed analytical review following the internal standard process and presenting to key stakeholders.
• Coordinating global statutory processes for the Nordic region collaborating with local Nordic team and Global Statutory Process Leader
• Being the main point of contact for external centralized audit for the region including ensuring issues are addressed or escalated timely to prevent any audit delays or cost overruns.
• Maintain the standardized statutory processes and provide support to Global Statutory Process Leader’s standardization projects and any other reasonable ad-hoc tasks assigned by line manager.
• Completion of internal Danaher statutory reporting requirements.

Who you are:

• Accounting or Finance Qualification
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Any Nordic language is an advantage but no requirement.
• Strong analytical & excel skills
• Clear thinking/problem solving; successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas
• Being open to change in response to new information and ability to prioritize.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• In a similar global role
• Working in a matrix environment
• Audit
