For more information, please visit <a href="http://www.thermofisher.com/" target="_blank">www.thermofisher.com</a>.<br /><br />DESCRIPTION:<br />The Staff Program Manager, will be pivotal in driving the strategic and operational priorities of the Laboratory Plastics Essentials (LPE) business. This individual will ensure alignment across functions, detailed execution of impactful initiatives, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results. By incorporating outstanding program management practices, this individual will assist LPE in meeting commitments and accelerating growth.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead, manage, coordinate, synchronize, and be accountable for the execution of programs from Customer engagement through to Product Delivery / Launch &amp; Program Closure.</p></li><li><p>Manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously, ranging in complexity and scope</p></li><li><p>Act as information bridge between the Core Team and Senior Management. Influence stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization. Communicate regularly with divisional leadership to monitor progress, address obstacles, and support timely decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Lead teams to define and prioritize scope, objectives, and requirements.</p></li><li><p>Develop accurate, actionable, and cross-functionally integrated program plans based on business goals, constraints, and risk tolerance.</p></li><li><p>Drive risk assessment, communication, proactive mitigation planning, and contingency response planning.</p></li><li><p>Regularly track, monitor, and communicate team progress against requirements and plans to all Stakeholders; resolve deviations; schedule and lead core team meetings.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate and coordinate across all the functional areas (R&amp;D, Operations, Product Management, QA/QC, Regulatory, Legal, Manufacturing, and others) to ensure successful program completion.</p></li><li><p>Lead, document, and communicate constructive lessons-learned analysis of completed programs.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or Life Sciences required; advanced degree (MS, MBA, or PhD or equivalent experience) and/or PMP certification preferred.</p></li><li><p>5&#43; years of program management experience with demonstrated ability to manage global teams, driving multi-year, business level impact projects</p></li><li><p>Experience with demonstrated success in delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives</p></li><li><p>Experience with project management methodologies, tools and best practices</p></li><li><p>Experience managing external partner/vendor relationships</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with MS Project Management software and MS Office suite</p></li><li><p>Self-directed with ability to work independently</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Proven track record to lead, mentor, and motivate teams to achieve measurable business results</p></li><li><p>Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, capable of leading without direct authority. Able to comfortably manage and hold accountability on multiple levels in the organization.</p></li><li><p>Outstanding discernment and problem-solving abilities, proficient at navigating through fluid environments and shaping pivotal decisions</p></li><li><p>Exceptional communication skills, able to tailor messages for diverse audiences and build trust across all interpersonal levels</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Other Important Information</b></p><ul><li><p>Travel requirement: 10–20%.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Compensation and Benefits</b></u></p>The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $113,500.00–$150,000.00.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
