The Staff Testing Development Engineer will perform the responsibility for product design testing in Tier 1 customer's PSU/BBU/ESS/PCU Projects request.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>What a typical day looks like:</span></b><br /><span>##Job Description:</span><br /><span>Ideal Candidate prefer has deep understanding of Switched-Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) and own knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS) / Battery Backup Units (BBU).</span></p><p><br /><span>##Key Responsibilities</span><br /><span>• Test Planning and Strategy Development:</span><br /><span>--- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product management, manufacturing)</span><br /><span>--- Define testing requirements and objectives</span><br /><span>--- Develop comprehensive test plans (methodologies, resources, timelines, success criteria)</span><br /><span>--- Identify and implement best practices for testing processes</span><br /><span>• Test Design and Implementation:</span><br /><span>--- Design and develop test fixtures, automated test scripts, and setups for SMPS and BMS/BBU systems</span><br /><span>--- Create detailed test cases and procedures based on specifications and standards</span><br /><span>--- Ensure calibration and maintenance of all test equipment</span><br /><span>• Execution of Testing:</span><br /><span>--- Conduct various tests (functional, performance, thermal, environmental, safety)</span><br /><span>--- Perform capacity and cycle testing on battery systems</span><br /><span>--- Measure and analyze output voltage, current, ripple, and noise levels in SMPS</span><br /><span>• Data Analysis and Reporting:</span><br /><span>--- Analyze test results and document findings in detailed reports</span><br /><span>--- Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement</span><br /><span>--- Present findings to stakeholders with actionable recommendations</span><br /><span>• Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:</span><br /><span>--- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in SMPS and BMS/BBU systems</span><br /><span>--- Collaborate with design engineers for troubleshooting</span><br /><span>--- Conduct root cause analysis for failures and implement corrective actions</span><br /><span>--- Compliance and Standards Adherence:</span><br /><span>--- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., UL, IEC, ISO)</span><br /><span>--- Stay updated on changes in standards and incorporate them into practices</span><br /><span>--- Identify opportunities for process improvements</span><br /><span>--- Implement new testing technologies and tools</span><br /><span>• Documentation and Knowledge Management:</span><br /><span>--- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, procedures, results, and lessons learned</span><br /><span>--- Contribute to internal knowledge bases and best practice guides</span></p><p><br /><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b><br /><span>##Qualifications</span><br /><span>• Education:</span><br /><span>--- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field</span><br /><span>• Experience:</span><br /><span>--- 5-10 years in testing SMPS and BMS/BBU systems</span><br /><span>--- Proven experience in leading testing projects and teams</span><br /><span>• Technical Skills:</span><br /><span>--- Strong understanding of SMPS design principles and testing methodologies</span><br /><span>--- In-depth knowledge of BMS/BBU functionality and safety standards</span><br /><span>--- Proficiency in test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, electronic loads, environmental chambers)</span><br /><span>--- Familiarity with automated testing tools and software code customization (C/C++, Python, VBScripts)</span><br /><span>• Soft Skills:</span><br /><span>--- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</span><br /><span>--- Strong communication and interpersonal skills</span><br /><span>--- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively</span><br /><br /><span>##Preferred Qualifications</span><br /><span>• Experience with regulatory compliance testing (e.g., UL, CE, FCC)</span><br /><span>• Knowledge of EMI/EMC testing procedures and standards</span><br /><span>• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project
