Work Flexibility: HybridWhat You Will DoTechnical Responsibilities:<div><ul><li>Architect, design, develop, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable full-stack applications using the MEAN stack (or similar) within a cloud-hosted infrastructure. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Modernize and incrementally migrate legacy Java services to NodeJS. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Integrate applications with external systems and APIs using modern, secure, and efficient techniques. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Establish and implement automated testing frameworks and processes, ensuring robust code quality and reliability. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Utilize cloud services effectively, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), to optimize application performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. </li></ul></div>Business Responsibilities:<div><ul><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering & DevOps to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Provide clear, consistent, and transparent communication to stakeholders regarding development progress, risks, and solutions</li></ul></div>General Responsibilities:<div><ul><li>Endeavor to elevate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of yourself and others, fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment aiming to continuously grow and improve. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Regularly review and enforce coding standards, updating and improving technical standards as required. </li></ul></div>What You Need (Required Qualifications)<div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>6+ years of proven full-stack development experience. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Extensive hands-on experience and understanding of best practices in web and server-side development. Proven experience with modern Web UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and Backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Java, or Python). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proficiency in modern software development practices, including microservices architectures and API development. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience with Relational & NoSQL databases (MongoDB & PostgreSQL). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proficiency with core front-end languages: HTML, CSS, TypeScript.</li></ul></div>Preferred Qualifications<div><ul><li>Prior cloud hosting experience, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Prior experience working with real-time data streaming and analytics. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience leveraging and standardizing AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve developer productivity while maintaining code quality, security, and review standards. </li></ul></div>$133,400 - $222,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits.
