We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled </span><b><span>Staff Embedded Systems</span></b><span> </span><b><span>Engineer</span></b><span> to lead sustaining engineering efforts at our manufacturing facility. </span></span></p><p><span><span>This individual will be a key contributor on the Lifecycle Engineering team, responsible for supporting the design, development, testing, and manufacturing of electronics in low-power, RF-controlled wearable medical devices. Success in this role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills. </span></span></p><p></p><p><span><b><span>Key Responsibilities</span></b><span> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Lead root cause analysis for design and manufacturing issues at the system and sub-blocks level </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Collaborate on the design, development, testing, and transfer of products to manufacturing </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Initiate and own design change process (ECO),  including all the required documentation and procedures.   </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Investigate product quality concerns and work with contract manufacturers to drive improvements </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Perform hands-on lab measurements and experiments to diagnose and resolve issues, including SW/HW integration and debugging. </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Develop a deep understanding of the product manufacturing processes and propose enhancements to improve manufacturability and quality of the product.  </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Serve as the on-site R&amp;D representative supporting the product manufacturing line </span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><b><span>Education &amp; Experience</span></b><span> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor’s degree in EE, CS, CE or related field with 7&#43; years of relevant experience, or </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Master’s degree with 5&#43; years of relevant experience </span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><b><span>Preferred Skills &amp; Competencies</span></b><span> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Embedded systems programming experience in C/C&#43;&#43;, other programming languages like Python is a plus.  </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Experience with electromechanical embedded systems, preferably in the medical device industry.  </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong data analytics skills. </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Solid background in analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth Low Energy) </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented and self-directed </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Experience developing test protocols and technical reports </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Skilled in lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, etc. </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Experience with engineering tools: MATLAB, MathCAD, Minitab </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Demonstrated ethical, responsible, and data-driven decision-making approach </span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><span><b><span>Travel Requirement</span></b><span> </span></span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span><span> Required to travel to the US or to over Insulet locations several times a year. </span></span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><span> </span></span></p>
