Our group
At Sample Preparation and Analysis group (SPA), we develop and maintain the software for automation of operation of Scanning Electron Microscopes. Our solution is crucial for semiconductor industry to identify errors in the production of semiconductor components and advance their research and produc
tion, to make them more robust, reliable, energy efficient.
As a member of an international team of scientists, software developers, and engineers, you'll support development of instrument software. Your data-driven insights and recommendations will improve in
strument robustness, speed up research and development and help the team with making better design decisions.
Daily Challenges
- Analyze telemetry data to provide insights into our instruments and processes
- Design dashboards and reports for end users to support their decision-making
- Develop Python modules that transform raw data into actionable and useful information
- Help with data infrastructure design
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
To be successful in your future job, you should have:
- Active use of Python and Pandas
- Both ability to prototype fast and deliver production-grade code
- Ability to work in a multi-functional team and readiness to offer help
- Proficient in English language
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Strong data-analytical background
- Eagerness to understand the domain - electron microscopes
- 3+ year experience with data-oriented tasks
The following skills are nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with Plotly / Dash or other dashboarding tool.
- Experience with popular data analytical platforms, e.g. Databricks, Qlik, Tableau, …
- Skills in statistical data analysis (hypothesis testing, descriptive and inferential statistics, EDA)
- Experience with image processing methods
- Experience with leading and designing data analytics project
