The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in tooling design, maintenance, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced assembly environment in a Controlled Manufacturing Environment (clean room).</b></p><p></p><p>This position reports to the <b>Operations Manager</b> and is part of the <b>Manufacturing team</b> located in <b>Tijuana, Baja California, México</b> and will be an <b>on-site role</b>.  </p><p></p><p><b>In this role, you will have the opportunity to:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Lead the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs for tooling systems.</li><li>Troubleshoot tooling issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.</li><li>Collaborate with production, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure tooling reliability and performance.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The essential requirements of the job include</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in tooling engineering, with a focus on equipment and fixture preventive maintenance.</li><li>Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as assembly, stamping, injection molding and CNC machining.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Travel, Motor Vehicle Record &amp; Physical/Environment Requirements:</b> <i>if applicable for role</i></p><ul><li>Travel Requirements: May require occasional travel to suppliers or other facilities in USA.</li><li>Physical demands include standing, walking, and occasional lifting of tooling components.</li><li>Physical stress required: Visual and Manual.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Experience working in ISO 13485 regulated environments.</li><li>Experience with GD&amp;T, material selection, and tolerance analysis.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Mammotome, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
