<p style="text-align:left"><b>Work Schedule</b></p>Standard (Mon-Fri)<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Environmental Conditions</b></p>Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Laboratory Setting, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b><u>Job Description</u></b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span>What will you do?</span><br /><br /><span>Routinely working with laboratory analysts to ensure analysts have all required supplies prior to testing initiation.</span><br /><br /><span>Apply a variety of information management systems and tools to effectively manage inventory and logistics for samples, standards, assay controls, critical reagents, consumables, and other items in support of the QC laboratory operations.</span><br /><br /><span>Assist laboratory analysts with a variety of non-billable support activities: glassware handling/labeling, laboratory waste management, laboratory inspections and walkthroughs, labeling, kanban/5S systems, etc.</span><br /><br /><span>Assist with the creation and monitoring of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement means in order to fulfill inventory requirements needed by the laboratory operations.</span><br /><br /><span>Collect, wash, and re-distribute laboratory glassware.</span><br /><br /><span>Manage laboratory waste transport to designated EHS drop-off areas.</span><br /><br /><span>Assists with the laboratory PMs where appropriate.</span><br /><br /><span>Assist with additional laboratory support duties (future non-billable, non-critical tasks) as necessary to meet departmental goals.</span><br /><br /><span>Other duties as assigned.</span><br /><br /><br /> </p><p><b>How will you get here?</b></p><p></p><p><b>Education/Experience: </b> </p><ul><li><p>Required: High school diploma or equivalent with &#43;2 years of experience OR Bachelor&#39;s Degree </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities</b></p><ul><li><span>Working knowledge of GMP regulations in a GMP environment preferred</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of cGMP practices and aseptic techniques preferred</span></li></ul><p><br /><span>A flexible work schedule is required.</span><br /><br /><span>Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently, with occasional heavier objects of up to 50lbs with assistance.</span><br /><br /><span>Routine push/pull/lift activities involving sample carts, sample freezer trays, and other objects.</span><br /><br /><span>Must be able to wear gloves and other PPE to handle samples.</span><br /><br /><span>Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. This role is actively moving between desk and laboratory work.</span></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
