Sr. Technician, Calibration - Rotational Shift

We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results.</p><p></p><p>Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. </p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>Summary of Position:</p><p>- Calibrates, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots instrumentation and equipment for laboratory and manufacturing plants to ensure conformance to established calibration standards.</p><p>-   Carry out planned or unplanned maintenance and repair activities on a wide range of electronic equipment and process control and safety systems.</p><p>- Provide solutions to complex equipment, instruments and control system problems.</p><p>- Records the information accurately on forms provided and work orders.</p><p>- Consults manufacturers manuals, circuit diagrams, schematics, specifications, P&amp;IDs, and blueprints to determine tests and maintenance procedures for instruments used for measuring and controlling flow, level, pressure, temperature, chemical composition and other variables in manufacturing and processing.</p><p>- Repair and adjust system components, such as sensors, transmitter, final elements and controllers, or remove and replace defective parts.</p><p>- Work closely with the technical service technician, supervisor and planner to target maintainability issues at lower cost and improve productivity. </p><p>- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports.</p><p>- Attend all service calls in a timely and cost-effective manner.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Position Requirements:</p><p>- Associate Degree as Instrumentation Technician</p><p>- Four to Five years experience in calibration and maintenance of chemical process plants for instrumentation and control systems.</p><p>- Ability to communicate in Spanish and English</p><p>- Ability to read, interpret and work from drawings, schematics, testing instructions and specifications.</p><p>- Ability to operate electronic test equipment</p><p>- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose problems, make adjustments, repair and obtain settings and calibrate instruments and control systems.</p><p>- Ability to use Maximo CMMS software</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>US Benefits at Baxter (except for Puerto Rico)</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">This is where your well-being matters.
