Summary:<div>Sr. Technical Product Manager (Sr. TPM)</div><div>Sr. TPM for BD's cloud connectivity platform will play a very valuable role for the product and engineering organization. The key primary responsibilities of this role would be collaborating with partners and stakeholders to understand customer and market requirements, and lead and manage prioritizing for the product backlog and oversee development of detailed requirements and stories. </div><div> </div><div>To accomplish this, you will work in a collaborative product team to define and document feature requirements; work with customers to test and validate new releases; liaise with the customers to ensure that issues and defects are triaged, prioritized, and remediated; collaborate with product teams including software engineering and architecture to enable delivery activities across the release train. </div><div> </div><div>The Software Technology Solutions (STS) organization is BD’s global software innovation engine that enables smart connectivity, and data-driven insights, with world class technology capabilities to make a difference in patients’ lives. </div><div> </div><div>We care about our associates and ensure we have servant leaders to help you grow your career, provide feedback and recognition, and empower you to show up every day as your authentic self. Armed with a growth mindset and a desire to want to do more, learn more, impact more, you are in a great position to join STS as a Sr. TPM to help BD advance the world of health in ways you may never have imagined in your career. </div><div> </div><div>Key Responsibilities </div><div><div><ul><li>Product Vision and Leadership: Provide vision and direction to the product team throughout the product lifecycle with a customer-first mindset, understanding customers’ workflows and problems to solve. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Requirements Definition and Analysis: Develop crisp product requirements that can be used to drive product specifications and architecture, ensuring a clear understanding of product objectives and priorities for the product owner and development team. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Backlog Management: Work with the product owner to prepare and prioritize product features to enable workflow and alignment with the product vision and customer value. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Stakeholder Communication: Keep stakeholders and cross-team collaborators informed on product status and lead product release plans, setting expectations for future growth. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Project Management Partnership: Provide active leadership in mitigating impediments, ensuring governance for change management, leading adjustments to the plan, and managing dependencies to facilitate successful completion of release goals. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Knowledge, Skills and Experience </div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or Software related fields. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>7+ years of experience as a product manager. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>3+ years of experience working with cloud and/or SaaS products </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong understanding of AI models and workloads, cloud computing, APIs, and developer tools. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, strategies, and technical concepts clearly and effectively to varied audiences. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Demonstrated capability to lead, influence, and deliver results both with and without formal authority, consistently fostering cross‑functional collaboration in support of strategic business objectives. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Self-motivated with the ability to work in team settings. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience with Agile practices and principles. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Creative thinking with a focus on customer centric product improvements. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Drive product roadmap development. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Advanced understanding of medical device regulations and quality and regulatory standards is a plus. </li></ul></div><div> </div></div><div>This position is designated as a hybrid in office role (4 days per week). Our office is currently undergoing setup, so employees hired before completion of the new space will work remotely on a temporary basis.
