Position Overview:
This position is responsible for leading the development, deployment, and industrialization of manufacturing equipment and process technologies for the Specimen Management Business Unit. This role bridges Product Development and Manufacturing by translating new product introductions (NPI) and design changes into scalable, compliant, and operator-focused manufacturing solutions.
Working closely with Product Design, Quality, Operations, Procurement, PMO, and external suppliers, this individual drives equipment implementation, process optimization, and successful production ramp-up across multiple manufacturing sites. Success in this role is measured through on-time project execution, improved Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reduced Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and adherence to regulatory and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering
10 years of engineering and process development experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Up to 25% domestic/international for site integration and supplier FAT/SAT
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering;
MBA or MS in Engineering
Knowledge and Skills:
Proven ability to manage capital projects, influence cross-functional teams, and deliver results in regulated environments.
Experience with stage-gate governance, risk analysis (FMEA), and validation.
Strong financial acumen and project management skills.
Familiarity with Lean, SPC, and continuous improvement methodologies.
