This position resides within the GWES organization and is responsible for providing Projects Management support the New England region. This role involves collaborating with external partners and cross-functional teams to operate and maintain buildings and building systems to support research labs division and corporate functions effectively and safely.
Primary Activities
Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and successful completion of designated site projects. This role involves directing and coordinating assigned project activities, ensuring that they align with established schedules, budgets and specifications. Ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of various sized projects, managing resources, teams and stakeholders efficiently while upholding the highest standards of quality, compliance and safety.
Oversees and manages compliance for activities performed by projects partners, management of change and investigations.
Manage all phases of assigned project(s), ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget and meet all required specifications.
Manage Projects Portfolio short mid and long term.
Support facility related activities for GWES Facility Operations.
Ensure project partners meet all contractual obligations including all Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
Ensure that all work complies with quality standards and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Identifies, enables, and takes calculated risks to challenge norms and execute opportunities that will drive efficiencies and create value.
Works collaboratively across the organization, building bridges across teams, functions, divisions, geographies, external stakeholders, and customers to support the best outcome for the company.
Defines and executes consistent processes to improve value, ensure continued delivery of products and services, and sustain long-term growth.
Applies knowledge of quality, regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements and effectively partners with experts to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
Assesses the degree of change required, manages, and minimizes associated risks, and brings stakeholders and team members through phases of commitment to drive successful execution and implementation of the change.
Support facility strategies for business continuity, building operation, and asset life cycle management to improve current service and uptime while generating new service offerings that create value for our company.
Understands workplace strategy and research and analytic methodologies, works across the organization, and implements workplace strategies to advance organizational objectives.
Works with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and productive services effectively and safely at a competitive cost.
Perform regularly scheduled site audits of responsible areas,
Support IFM initiative implementation and sustainability of processes, management of staff and supplemental IFM staff for planning and move management, and allocation of resources to meet all objectives. Ensures work is completed right the first time.
Will be necessary to have flexible availability to support project needs on nights, weekends and/or holidays when needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management. Preferred in pharmaceutical industry.
Must demonstrate an excellent understanding of quality, compliance and change control as it relates to facility operations.
Understanding of finance and cash flow with respect to corporate purchasing.
Experience with financial and budget tasks
Demonstrated communication, leadership, teamwork, and customer service skills.
Demonstrated technical and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated computer skills using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Computer skills using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point etc.), CAD and operation of other peripheral devices
Documented experience as a strong performer in current and past positions
Ability to handle and prioritize a large number of simultaneous assignments
Energy Management , knowledge and experience in ISO 50001 and energy reduction projects, green energies, green labs, sustainability.
Outstanding communication and people skills
Ability to both think critically as well as communicate effectively with a global audience
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Fluent in English; bi-lingual in Spanish is desirable
Lean, Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equal experience in application.
Knowledge and experience in project and facilities management.
Experience with external partner management and agencies.
Additional professional designations including Project Management, Change Management, etc.
CFM and PMP Certifications
Experience in Lab operations, Bio, Chem, Animal facility
Knowledge of SAP and Hexagon
Required Education:
High School Diploma required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, construction management, or other related, preferred.

The salary range for this role is
$117,000.00 - $184,200.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
