This also includes safety-related products like cleanroom and controlled-environment supplies; personal protective equipment (PPE); firefighting, military, and first responder equipment and supplies; and environmental monitoring and sampling equipment.<br /><br />Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Sales Manager, where you'll guide and support a successful sales team to drive strategic growth and customer success. You'll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies while ensuring exceptional customer relationships and market development.<br /><br />In this role, you'll guide strategic direction, manage a team of sales representatives, develop customer relationships, and drive revenue growth through effective account management. You'll analyze market trends, implement effective strategies, and ensure your team maintains a strong pipeline of opportunities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to create meaningful impact while applying your sales leadership expertise and industry knowledge.<br /><br />REQUIREMENTS:<br />• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Science, advanced degree is an asset<br />• 10 years of industry specific experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry or equivalent<br />• Additional certifications in sales management or leadership a plus<br />• 3+ years of proven sales management and team leadership experience<br />• Strong understanding of CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com<br />• Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans<br />• Professional selling and presentation skills with excellent business acumen<br />• Demonstrated leadership abilities with proven experience in coaching and developing sales talent<br />• Experience in P&L management and forecasting<br />• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities<br />• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</p><p>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence tools<br />• Ability to travel 20-30%<br />• Commitment to Thermo Fisher's core values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement<br />• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and organizational partnership<br />• Fluency in English required; additional language skills may be beneficial</p><p></p><p>Why Join Thermo Fisher Scientific?</p><p>You'll join a global organization where marketing has a seat at the strategy table and where your work directly supports scientific advancement.
