To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Safety Staff Engineer located in Shenzhen.
Reporting to the Safety Manager.
What a typical day looks like:
• Power System Modeling:
Develop and maintain precise single-line diagrams (SLD) within ETAP software to represent facility electrical systems.
• Core Engineering Studies:
Execute essential studies such as Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis, and Protective Device Coordination to ensure system reliability and safety
• Arc Flash Analysis:
Calculate incident energy levels, arc flash boundaries, and fault clearing times, adhering to IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E standards
• Safety & Compliance:
Propose strategies to reduce incident energy and enhance workplace safety
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
• Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field (B.E., B.Sc., or M.Sc.) is required
• Experience:
Candidates must have over 8+ years of relevant experience in power system studies and modelling
• Software Skills:
Proficiency in ETAP Arc Safety modeling, short circuit modules, and coordination tools is essential
• Standards Knowledge:
A deep understanding of IEEE 1584, including NFPA 70E, and OSHA electrical safety regulations is mandatory
• Communication:
Proficiency in English communication is essential for this position. The role requires effective interaction not only within the organization but also with customers and cross-functional teams worldwide.
