The quality engineer reports to the Global Production Quality Lead and supports Manufacturing Data Statistics Analysis, RMA management and supports continuous improvement for all power manufacturing sites.
What a typical day looks like:
Developing and maintaining the data & reports required for the Global biz operations and power top management.
Consolidate product yield/AFFR performance, field return/RMA data/level 2 FACA, voices of customer and CAPA close loop and communicate with stakeholders to define and execute the critical insights to provide data analysis.
Develop and implement databases, data collection process, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Work with manufacturing sites to prioritize business and information needs published on a weekly/monthly basis data within each of the manufacturing sites.
The data/reports will be utilized to manage and measure the KPIs in effect for each manufacturing sites in the Global biz operations and conduct trend analysis and develop analytics to drive performance improvements.
Responsible for working with the relevant teams to collaborate and develop improvement plans for field return and the roll out of these improvement plans and best practices across all manufacturing sites.
Coordinate with customer and internal teams to quickly respond to RMA # and level 2 FA update requests.
Work with manufacturing sites quality teams to accelerate level2 FA and RMA disposition.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks to site quality and implement mitigation strategies.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in data statistics analysis and quality background position.
Ability to to use the data analysis synthesize complex and high-risk problems to calm down all of concerns
Familiarity with KPI management and performance measurement of PSU/BBU products.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to apply statistical, analytical, and technical expertise to product and manufacturing process problems.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly.
Ability to take ownership of a project or issue, analyze it and solve problems not faced before.
Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and customers.
Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
Familiar with typical office software (Email/Word/Excel/PPT, etc.)
