What You’ll Do This position will provide core team leadership to a project core team, to drive the design, development and commercialization of innovative neurovascular products from concept/feasibility to launch.<ul><li>Provide cross-functional leadership and coordination on assigned Stroke R&D projects, drive project execution in accordance to ICI design control process & quality systems. </li><li>Coordinate and facilitate communication among internal and external members of a team on a project to ensure effective, accurate and timely collaboration across functional areas and serve as a primary point of contact. </li><li>Ultimately accountable for the successful delivery (on-time, on-budget and on-target) of NPD project from Initiation/Feasibility to Commercialization.</li><li>Responsible for development and execution of detailed project plans to achieve overall project goals and objectives.</li></ul><ul><li>Manage day-to-day activities of project executions, hold core team members accountable for project deliverables. </li><li>Monitor and track project execution, project budget and resources. </li><li>Resolve resource assignment and allocation conflicts with functional management. </li><li>Proactively manage project risks and develop response strategies to avoid/reduce/contain risk impacts. </li><li>Responsible for understanding and assessing project issues, lead project team to bring issues to resolution, and escalate as necessary to meet timelines.</li><li>Provide project communication and updates to Cross-functional management and Stroke Executive Leadership Team. </li><li>Apply product development and project management best practices, tools and techniques where appropriate. </li></ul> What You’ll Bring:<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">BS in Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 8 years of increasingly responsible project management experience in the medical device industry; or a combination of education/training and experience.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Experience working under regulated quality systems such as GMPs, ISO 9001, and the MDD</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Familiar with Design Control process</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Proficiency with Microsoft Office products </li><li style="text-align:justify;">Proficiency with MS project and other project management tools</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Experience in catheter development and medical devices preferred.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Interpersonal skills to be able to influence without direct authority over team members  </li><li style="text-align:justify;">PMP certification a plus</li></ul> Employee Benefits include a stake in our collective success with stock options, competitive salaries, a 401k plan, bonus, health benefits, generous PTO, and a parental leave program.
