<p><b><span class="emphasis-2">Job Overview:</span></b></p><p>Role is primary contact for investigative sites for site payments. Responsible for administering grant and non-grant payments in accordance with the site executed agreement.</p><ul></ul><p></p><p><b><span class="emphasis-2">Summary of Responsibilities:</span></b></p><ul><li>Accountable for the overall payment management of assigned studies which includes initial communication with PMS and sites during payment set-up in the system, execution of timely and accurate payment to the sites, issue resolution and final study reconciliation.</li><li>Responsible for processing and tracking payments to Investigators and Institutions</li><li>Boards in compliance with executed contracts.</li><li>Identify payment criteria and administer payments to each investigator and process all passthrough costs.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service and site issue resolution.</li><li>Assist in setting up study budget template in payment system.</li><li>Liaise with Site Contracts regarding payment terms in investigator agreements.</li><li>Communicate with sites, Finance, and clinical teams regarding payment questions and or status update.</li><li>Maintain and update payment tracking</li><li>Setup and maintain financial files throughout the course of the study including payment documentation, investigator financial files and amendments.</li><li>Reconcile all study payments on a routine basis and provide financial reports to clients as requested.</li><li>Provide site payment documentation for sponsor audits as requested.</li><li>Generate investigative site payment reports for project team review (if applicable).</li><li>Assist in the development and testing of new Grant Payment systems.</li><li>Contribute and participate in process improvement projects.</li><li>Understand and follow policies and procedures.</li><li>All other duties as needed or assigned</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span class="emphasis-2">Qualifications (Minimum Required):</span></b></p><ul><li>University/College degree.</li><li>Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.</li><li>Two (2) years’ work experience in a financial, clinical trial, or grant payment position.</li><li>Strong computer skills with an ability to understand, access and leverage technology</li><li>alternatives.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span class="emphasis-2">Experience (Minimum Required):</span></b></p><ul><li>Minimum three (3) years’ transactional accounting (e.g., A/P, Billing, etc.), or relevant financial or clinical trial related experience.</li><li>Two (2) years&#39; work experience in a financial, clinical trial, or grant payment position.</li><li>Strong computer skills with an ability to understand, access and leverage technology alternatives.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span class="emphasis-2">Preferred Qualifications Include:</span></b></p><ul><li>University/College degree in Business or Accounting preferred.</li><li>Working knowledge of clinical trial payment process and familiarity with investigator contracts and budgets; previous interaction with operational project teams and investigative sites preferred.</li><li>Strong networking abilities and an ability/willingness to work with internal and external stakeholders across the globe.</li><li>Strong analytical skills.</li><li>Good organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication / writing skills.</li><li>Strong computer skills.</li><li>Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, and Internet skills), aptitude for training, capable of operating standard office equipment (e.g., fax, copier etc.).</li><li>Flexible and adaptable to a developing work environment.</li><li>Self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.</li><li>Works well independently as well as in a team environment.</li><li>Detail and process oriented.</li><li>Positive attitude and approach.</li><li>Customer oriented.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span class="emphasis-2">Physical Demands/Work Environment:</span></b></p><ul><li>General Office Environment.</li></ul><p></p><p><span>Learn more about our </span><a href="https://careers.fortrea.com/us/en/eeo-and-accommodations" target="_blank">EEO &amp; Accommodations request here</a><span>.</span></p>
