Oncology is one of the top priority areas for China and Global, and is expecting to deliver significant growth and benefit a great number of patients in the coming years.

This role, therefore, is needed to provide solid strategic analysis and insights for the leadership team to track/review performance and make strategic decisions to further transform the business model and identify and drive potential growth in a highly dynamic environment. 

Primary Activities 

• Provide data-driven analysis to support the oncology business and, as requested by key stakeholders: template, data collection, validation, analysis, presentation
• Work with core BPs and lead OBU financial planning process (including long-term and short-term, inline and new launches)
• Work with core stakeholders and lead the brand financial planning and critical strategic projects (GTM, new launch, etc)
• Support company-level strategic initiatives as needed
• Support senior leader review as needed
• Support company and BU events as needed
• Other strategic analysis as needed 

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree from a top university; Advanced degrees (MBA, MS, MD) preferred; overseas experiences preferred
• Consulting background (2-6 years reference) with solid basic skills; in-house strategic planning experiences in a large MNC Pharma as a plus
• Strong skills in: data-driven analysis, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals from a variety of disciplines at all levels (senior leaders to working teams)
• Solid business acumen (in oncology as a plus) and proven track record of “proactively getting things done.”
• Effective communications in Chinese and English in written and verbal with senior leaders, local team, and global
• Master in office: e.g., PPT, Excel modeling
• Fast learner, team player, and integrity

Preferred:

• Experience in strategic projects, from initiation to landing, especially in the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated ability to understand, distill, and communicate complex information
• Ability to manage multiple projects aimed at executing and delivering on the strategic vision and right timing
