At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. </span><span>You will be a part of the Fargo Operations team</span> <span>and report to the VP, Manufacturing. </span></p><p></p><p><b>In this role, you will have the opportunity to:</b></p><ul><li>Plan, organize, direct, and manage activities related to Fargo physical plants and equipment maintenance.</li><li>Lead a team of people leaders in production maintenance, infrastructure services, and metrology.</li><li>Drive a culture of continuous improvement within teams to help with numerous metrics, such as right first time, downtime, and on time delivery.</li><li>Coordinate the actions of outside vendors required for facility/equipment maintenance and repair with the appropriate Aldevron managers of affected areas. Serve as the main Aldevron point of contact for these vendors.</li><li>Ensure compliant, functioning equipment and spaces across all Fargo sites, working with operations leaders on maintenance, calibrations, external services etc. to ensure timely and minimally disruptive repairs/improvements.</li><li>Act as Subject Matter Expert for all activities related to Facilities Management, environmental and machine controls for all areas, as well as metrology and calibration of equipment, in a constant state of readiness for inspection.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The essential requirements of the job include:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience; combination of experience and education will be considered</li><li>Several years experience in facilities/metrology with experience in leadership</li><li>Ability to coach and develop a team of people leaders</li><li>Experience in lean/DBS tools (PSP, Kaizen, Daily Management, etc.)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:</b></p><ul><li>Experience in a GMP/regulated manufacturing environment</li><li>Over 8+ years of experience in facilities and 3+ years experience in leadership</li></ul><p></p><p>This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.</p><p></p><p>We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.</p><p></p><p>Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
