Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives.</p><p></p><p><b><u>Main Responsibilities:</u></b></p><p><b>Manage waste drums for multiple waste streams:</b></p><ul><li><p>Packaging waste and coordinating autoclaving waste processing and disposal</p></li><li><p>Handle egg, liquid, chemical &amp; biological waste segregation and disposal</p></li><li><p>Managing inventory controls of Biological indicators</p></li><li><p>Media Management</p></li><li><p>Ordering, receiving, storage, and inventory tracking of media</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper rotation and expiration date management</p></li><li><p>Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages</p></li></ul><p><b>Glassware Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Wash and assemble glassware, connections, flasks; coordinate with Washing &amp; Sterilizing and returns to Quality Control</p></li><li><p>Perform monthly cleaning of lab equipment (transport containers, grey transport bins)</p></li><li><p>Perform routine checks for scratched/dented glassware and subsequent disposal</p></li></ul><p><b>Consumables Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Maintain adequate stock levels of lab consumables</p></li><li><p>Coordinate ordering and restocking activities</p></li><li><p>Optimize inventory levels to minimize waste and costs</p></li><li><p>Maintain visual management tools and inventory tracking systems</p></li><li><p>Drive continuous improvement in lab organization</p></li></ul><p><b>SAP Confirmations</b></p><ul><li><p>Process and confirm transactions in SAP system</p></li><li><p>Ensure timely posting of goods receipts and issues</p></li></ul><p><b>Dock Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Coordinate receiving activities for lab supplies and materials</p></li><li><p>Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition</p></li><li><p>Process receiving documentation and route materials appropriately</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse operations</p></li></ul><p><b>Backup Support for Other Lab Support Staff</b></p><ul><li><p>Provide coverage during absences, vacations, or peak periods</p></li><li><p>Cross-functional support across QC laboratory areas</p></li><li><p>Ensure continuity of critical lab support operations</p></li></ul><p><b>Assist Microbiology Department with Supply Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Unpacking incoming supplies and materials</p></li><li><p>Disinfecting materials before entry into controlled areas</p></li><li><p>Support micro team who will retain ordering responsibilities</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper handling of materials entering classified environments</p></li></ul><p></p><p>No employee has a proprietary right to an activity or group of activities.
