We are proud to work on groundbreaking science with one of the broadest and deepest Oncology pipelines in the business. </div><div>We are seeking a Senior Global Medical Affairs Leader (GMAL), Bladder Cancer, to join us at our dynamic site in the greater DC Metro area in Gaithersburg MD! The Senior GMAL will report to the Head of Genitourinary (GU) Cancers and will play a pivotal role in leading the Global Medical Affairs strategy and execution for one of the assets within the therapeutic area. The Sr GMAL will work cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Commercial, and other stakeholder teams to enhance patient benefit and deliver scientific leadership. </div><div>Key Responsibilities: </div><div><ul><li> Develop and execute the global medical affairs strategy for assigned asset/indications in bladder cancer </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead the planning and implementation of evidence generation activities, including real-world evidence and medical affairs studies </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Provide medical leadership in the development of scientific communication and publication strategy </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Represent medical affairs on cross-functional teams, including the Global Product Team (GPT) and the Integrated Brand Team (IBT), ensuring alignment with the overall asset strategy </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Advance market and stakeholder understanding by driving insight generation initiatives </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collaborate with regional and local medical teams to support the implementation of local plans and to ensure consistency with the global strategy </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Serve as the global expert for assigned asset/indications, collaborating with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and scientific experts </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Contribute to the development and delivery of materials and training for internal stakeholders </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Minimum Qualifications: </div><div><ul><li>Minimum of Master degree in a scientific field or equivalent medical/scientific qualifications </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>At least 5 years of senior/specialized experience within pharma/life sciences and/or medical experience (e.g. significant clinical/academic/medical affairs roles/organizations) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience and ability to lead and provide strategic leadership across functional working groups and teams within a complex matrix organization </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Preferred Qualifications: </div><div><ul><li>Advanced Scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Oncology medical experience </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Prior experience in bladder cancer is highly preferred </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Global and/or Country launch experience </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Desired Skills and Experience: </div><div><ul><li>Experience with evidence generation and market-shaping activities </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proven ability to work in a complex, matrix environment. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong scientific acumen and the ability to interpret and communicate complex data. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Are you ready to bring insights and fresh thinking to the table? Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
