In this vital role you will serve as the technical and functional administrator of Amgen’s enterprise Learning Management System solution, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and a seamless learning experience for all users. The administrator is a member of the Learning & Development product team which is responsible for administering learning management systems and related reporting environments, including hosted and on-premise applications; development, testing and deployment of break-fixes and enhancements with proper change management documentation; troubleshooting, resolving, and responding to end user tickets and service requests. </div><div>Key Responsibilities: </div><div><ul><li>Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including user accounts, security roles, course catalogs, and content lifecycle. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure system performance, availability, and compliance with Amgen’s data integrity, quality, and security standards. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collaborate with HR, Learning & Development, Compliance, and IT teams to implement new features, integrations, and system enhancements. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support learning analytics, reporting dashboards, and audits to ensure accurate regulatory and business reporting. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate resolution with vendors, and provide Tier 2–3 support to users globally. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintain documentation for configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and change management activities. </li></ul></div><div>What We Expect of You </div><div>We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The collaborative and detail-oriented professional we seek is a technical problem-solver and service-minded administrator with these qualifications: </div><div>Basic Qualifications </div><div><ul><li>Master’s / Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 9 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience supporting enterprise systems or application administration. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience managing databases, permissions, and configurations in a SaaS environment. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Proficiency with learning management platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, Workday Learning, or similar). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Working knowledge of data integration, file transfer protocols, and system interfaces (APIs, SFTP). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.</li></ul></div><div>Preferred Qualifications </div><div><ul><li>Experience administering HR learning platforms such as SumTotal, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Cornerstone or other regulated LMS in a global environment. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Understanding of GxP, CFR Part 11, and data privacy regulations related to learning systems. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience with SQL, reporting tools, or Power BI dashboards for learning analytics. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Change control experience. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed organization. </li></ul></div><div>Shift Information: </div><div>This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second or third shift schedule including weekend coverage.
