Let’s change the world. As a Senior Associate Software Engineer at Amgen, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Salesforce applications to meet business needs. You will collaborate with a team of software engineers, participate in the full software development life cycle, and ensure the delivery of high-quality code and solutions. Your strong programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail will contribute to the development of robust and scalable software solutions.</p><p></p><p><b>Roles & Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Design and implement Salesforce Lightning components using LWC and Aura frameworks to enhance platform functionality and user experience.</li><li>Configure roles, profiles, permission sets, and region-wise security and sharing settings to ensure appropriate access control across user groups.</li><li>Create and customize standard and custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, record types, and formula fields to meet business requirements.</li><li>Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and custom controllers as needed.</li><li>Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external/internal systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.</li><li>Utilize Copado to manage source control, deployments, pipeline automation, and environment management in support of release processes</li><li>Apply Salesforce development best practices to ensure code reusability, maintainability, and compliance with performance and scalability standards.</li><li>Collaborate with quality and validation teams to develop test scripts and execute functional and system testing in regulated environments.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve development or configuration issues during QA, UAT, and production support cycles.</li><li>Participated in design reviews, sprint planning, and code reviews, contributing to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and delivery cycles.</li><li>Maintain documentation including technical design, solution architecture, and release notes for enhancements and projects.</li><li>Ensure all development work adheres to GxP, CSV, and compliance requirements, including documentation traceability and audit readiness.</li><li>Collaborate with business analysts, QA, validation, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable and compliant Salesforce solutions.</li><li>Stay up to date with Salesforce platform releases, new features, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and platform optimization.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we expect of you</b></p><p>We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.</p><p><b>Basic Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Master’s degree and 4 to 7 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR</li><li>Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 8 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR</li><li>Diploma and 7 to 9 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field</li><li>5+ years of experience in Salesforce development including Lightning Components, Apex, Visualforce, and platform configuration</li><li>Hands-on experience with Salesforce security models, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and field-level access</li><li>Solid hands-on experience of implementing Salesforce Configurations, Apex, LWC, Aura</li><li>Strong understanding of Salesforce object model, workflows, validation rules, and triggers</li><li>Experience with Salesforce integrations using RESTful and SOAP web services</li><li>Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and version control systems like Git</li><li>Proven experience working with Copado for deployment automation, CI/CD pipeline configuration, and release management</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple environments</li><li>Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams supporting enterprise applications</li><li>Salesforce platform certifications are a strong plus</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Must-Have Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Proficient in developing custom solutions using Salesforce Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Apex triggers, including batch classes and schedulers with exception handling.</li><li>Experience configuring standard/custom objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, roles, profiles, permission sets, and region-specific sharing and access models.</li><li>Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with internal and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs;
