ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play a key role in enabling Amgen’s Process Development team to further unlock the potential of computational modeling and simulation to advance Amgen’s molecule pipelines. You will help to enable right first-time tech transfers and deliver against pipeline milestones. You will drive further lifecycle enhancements to build competency and further increase expertise across the Model Asset Commons development value stream.

Role Description:
This role involves requirements gathering and analysis focused on realiziings Amgen’s Process Development (PD) vision of a future where Digital Twins are ubiquitously deployed across the product and process lifecycle to drive precision, agility, and innovation. These aspirations are anchored in a multi-year strategy that integrates in silico modeling, AI agents, and digital threads to transform how PD designs, develops, and transfers technologies.
In addition to requirements analysis, this role emphasizes understanding how businesses create, consume, and make decisions using data in the context of their processes. The analyst analyzes how and where data is created, managed, and moved through business processes, software systems, and technologies. With strong SQL skills, they extract, manipulate, and analyze data from source systems and databases, ensuring clean, organized, and usable information for decision-making. They also bring a solid understanding of CDL and semantic layers, enabling efficient data organization and accessibility. Acting as a liaison, the analyst provides insights to stakeholders, optimizes processes, ensures consistent practices across teams, and contributes to regulatory compliance and reporting. With a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration, this role drives continuous improvement and ensures the success of program objectives.
