Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
Work Schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM IST (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM JST)
Responsibilities
Team Collaboration
• Foster collaboration among IT, business units, and external partners to ensure smooth integration
and user adoption.
• Provide mentorship and training to team members on domain knowledge, configuration standards,
and advanced technology solutions.
• Monitor service management progress and ensure alignment with quality standards.
Functional Expertise
• Strong understanding of commercial enablement business processes, platforms, and applications.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations.
• Expertise in medical devices manufacturing, sales, and distribution best practices.
• Excellent technology knowledge in enterprise cloud environments hosted in GCP and/or AWS.
• Experience with various testing methodologies (functional, non-functional, performance).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with enterprise, infrastructure, architecture, and leadership teams.
• Develop and maintain configuration standards; establish/improve KPIs for operational
effectiveness.
• Continuously evaluate testing processes, identify improvements, and implement best practices.
• Document and manage SOPs for software and information platform systems.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in IT and 2 years hands-on experience in enterprise platform administration
(GCP/AWS).
• Proven record of managing and maintaining enterprise cloud environments, including
infrastructure build (web, application, database).
• Strong understanding of resiliency and disaster recovery activities.
• Extensive experience translating business requirements into technical design.
• Good understanding of web technologies and hands-on experience with MySQL.
• Knowledge in RESTful API maintenance and integration.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience in design, development, and deployment in cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder and people management skills.
• Expertise in change management and user adoption strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in an onshore-offshore development model.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to switch between technical and business contexts.
• Embraces diversity and fosters an inclusive environment.

• Proficiency in Japanese language.
