Join Roche, where every voice matters.</p><h3></h3><p></p><h3>The Position</h3><p><b>Role Purpose</b></p><ul><li><p>As the leader for the squad team, set the vision and strategic ambition for the squad and be accountable for the delivery of Disease Area MTO/STO</p></li><li><p>As an enterprise leader, prioritize squad outcomes and ensure resource requirements are met to align with affiliate MTO/STO and portfolio priorities.</p></li><li><p>As country connector to work closely with DCL (Disease Commercialization Lead) and affiliate key stakeholders (ET/CL/TL) to mobilize affiliate and network resources</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Role Scope</b></p><p><span><b>1. Set Ambition and Strategic Vision:</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Establish the squad&#39;s vision, high ambitions, and key outcomes for the squad by leveraging insights from customer facing roles and other key stakeholders across the enterprise.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Hold overall accountability for the squad’s performance, including delivering outcomes and managing the P&amp;L within a framework of shared responsibility.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead the prioritization of disease area strategies, co-create the squad&#39;s OBP, and support financial planning  to drive long-term impact.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><b>2. Lead and Inspire Teams:</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Collaborate with people leaders to foster squad member capability growth to deliver team shared goals and actively participate in the employee contribution cycle.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Empower the squad team to make decisions, enable prioritization, and manage conflicts effectively to achieve ambitious outcomes, fostering a collaborative and continuous learning environment.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><b>3. Ensure Strategic Prioritization and Resource Allocation:</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Adopt an enterprise mindset, taking into account affiliate strategies and portfolio priorities to prioritize squad outcomes.</span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Ensure resource requirements are met to deliver on MTOs and STOs.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partner with WPO to enable effective WP execution and prioritization aligned with affiliate priorities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Facilitate squad resource prioritization and fluidity, ensuring alignment under the OBP cycle on a 120 days cycle.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><b>4. Foster Partnerships and Network Engagement:</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Foster both external and internal partnerships, ensuring that clinical and non-clinical stakeholders view Roche as their preferred partner.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Mobilize the network swiftly to address the urgent needs of key stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Inspire the squad team to engage and dialogue with key stakeholders to ensure organizational alignment and timely support.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Enable cross-affiliate networking to achieve and scale team and organizational outcomes, connecting and mobilizing DA network resources to fit local needs.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><b>5. Catalyze Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Partner with internal stakeholders to catalyze collaboration towards achieving the triple-win goal.</span></p></li><li><p>Accelerate learning and sharing across squads, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Qualifications:</b></span></p><ul><li style="color:#000000 !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Good Compliance track record. No material Compliance violation has been identified in the past 5 years. </span></p></li><li><p>Minimum 8&#43; years working experience in the pharma industry. </p></li></ul><p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Education:</b></span></p><ul><li><p>A bachelor degree in scientific, economic, or business related fields. An advanced degree in Life Science and/or MBA is a plus.</p></li></ul><p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Working Experience:</b></span></p><ul><li><p>Experience in managing senior key stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Experience in leading cross-functional teams </p></li><li><p>Experience in planning and managing resources prioritization</p></li><li><p>Experience in leadership role (formal or informal) is preferred </p></li></ul><p><br /></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Competencies </b></span></p><ul><li style="color:#000000 !important"><p><span style="color:#000000"><span>A VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst and Coach) leader with a creative mind.  Unites people around a shared vision and a common purpose, inspiring them to achieve squad-aligned outcomes.
