<h2><b>Career Category</b></h2>Information Systems<h2></h2><h2><b>Job Description</b></h2><p>As a UX Lead / Designer in Amgen’s AI/ML Innovation Lab, you’ll define and uphold the design language, usability standards, and brand experience for all digital solutions built within the lab.</p><p><br />This role has to collaborate with business stakeholders, scientists, and engineers to translate complex data and AI-driven insights into intuitive, human-centered interfaces aligned with Amgen’s global brand standards.</p><p><br /><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead UX design strategy, research, and prototyping for AI/ML and GenAI applications.</li><li>Collaborate with Amgen brand and compliance teams to ensure visual consistency.</li><li>Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing for new products.</li><li>Translate findings into journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.</li><li>Work closely with full-stack developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.</li><li>Define UX governance processes, templates, and reusable design systems.</li><li>Mentor UX designers and researchers from Amgen teams.</li><li>Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design across all solutions.</li></ul><p><br /><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>3–8 years of experience in UX / UI design, with 2&#43; years in a lead role.</li><li>Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, and familiarity with design systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of responsive and data-rich interface design.</li><li>Experience in complex enterprise or scientific product environments.</li><li>Excellent collaboration skills with engineering and product teams.</li></ul><p><br /><b>Preferred Skills</b></p><ul><li>Exposure to GenAI-driven UX, conversational interfaces, or AI copilots.</li><li>Familiarity with usability compliance and brand governance frameworks.</li><li>Experience designing for regulated domains (pharma, biotech).</li><li>Background in UX research or human-computer interaction (HCI) is a plus</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>.
