In this vital role you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Oder to Cash solutions (Order management, Billing, Invoice management, distribution and logistics) across all the Amgen manufacturing and distribution sites. This role focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to streamline and enhance OTC processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices. As an SAP Solution architect, you will work closely with operations IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design, and configure solutions, and provide post-implementation support. This position requires deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA Sales and Distribution with a good understanding of SD integration with WM/EWM, TM and Shipping functionalities. </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Roles & Responsibilities: </div><div><ul><li>Design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4 HANA OTC processes (Order management, billing, invoice management, distribution and logistics) including XPS </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, TM, ATTP, GTS, EAS, Vistex and EWM) as well as third-party systems </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Creation and maintenance of critical documentation such as technical assessments, configuration specs, functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Participate in ERP implementation projects, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver and sustain Amgen's S/4HANA ecosystem utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leading practices </li></ul></div><div>Basic Qualifications and Experience: </div><div><ul><li>Doctorate degree OR  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Master’s degree in computer science or STEM majors and 4 to 6 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP S/4 SD OR  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM majors and 6 to 8 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP S/4 SD OR  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Diploma in computer science or STEM majors and 10 to 12 years of IT or years of SAP implementation experience in SAP S/4 SD </li></ul></div><div>Functional Skills: </div><div>Must-Have Skills: </div><div><ul><li>Strong hands-on experience in configuring and customizing sales, delivery & billing document types and Item categories, schedule line Categories, contracts and pricing, ATP, output determination, Text Determination, Material Listing and Exclusion, Status profile, credit Management, EDI/IDOC integration with 3PL’s, Inter and Intra company STO’s </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience with S/4HANA Advance intercompany STO and Sales process </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong understanding of Global trader service, distribution and logics, warehouse management process. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to design and implement solutions based on business requirements, including debugging and root cause analysis. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience in creating detailed documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and compliance reports. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to test Function Module, BAPIs and knowledge on ABAP Debugging </li></ul></div><div>Good-to-Have Skills: </div><div><ul><li>Knowledge of Transportation management and ATTP. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience with integrating SAP S/4 SD with other SAP modules like Sales force, Vistex, Model N and ATTP. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Business Partner setup including Partner group, role and relationship mapping </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Knowledge in Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Knowledge in Master Data Governance tool (MDG) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Good Knowledge in Fiori Apps </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Professional Certifications: </div><div><ul><li>SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4 Hana Sales and Distribution </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred) </li></ul></div><div> Soft Skills: </div><div><ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance. </li></ul>Shift Information: This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second shift schedule.
