The Opportunity
Our Technology Centers focus on creating a space where teams can come together to deliver business solutions that save and improve lives. An integral part of our companys’ IT operating model, Tech Centers are globally distributed locations where each IT division has employees to enable our digital transformation journey and drive business outcomes. These locations, in addition to the other sites, are essential to supporting our business and strategy.
A focused group of leaders in each Tech Center helps to ensure we can manage and improve each location, from investing in growth, success, and well-being of our people, to making sure colleagues from each IT division feel a sense of belonging to managing critical emergencies. And together, we must leverage the strength of our team to collaborate globally to optimize connections and share best practices across the Tech Centers.
Role Overview
We’re seeking an Asset Reliability Technical Analyst to help turn industrial historian and asset data into actionable reliability insights—while supporting Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) data migration and new site onboarding. In this role, you will contextualize and govern equipment data (Aveva (formerly: OSIsoft including PI/AF), partner with operations and maintenance teams to define high-value use cases, and enable advanced diagnostics and analytics through well-modeled, analysis-ready data. You’ll support EAM migration activities (mapping, cleansing, validation, cutover runbooks, and reconciliation), coordinate onboarding readiness and deployment stabilization, and help ensure interoperability between historian and EAM/maintenance systems via APIs and standard interfaces. The ideal candidate brings experience in manufacturing or utilities reliability/maintenance and industrial data, strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills, and comfort working within structured delivery and change-control processes; EAM platform and migration experience is a plus.
Role overview:
The Asset Reliability Technical Analyst helps define, contextualize, and support the governance of asset and historian data to enable analytics, diagnostics, and actionable insights that optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) for equipment assets across production shop floor and building utilities. This role may support the technical delivery of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) data migration validation and new site onboarding, ensuring data quality, interoperability between systems (e.g., historian and maintenance/EAM platforms), and adoption of standard ways of working. The position partners closely with regional or site stakeholders, asset management teams, and product owners to improve maintenance effectiveness, reliability, uptime, and cost performance.
What will you do in this role:
· Historian & asset data contextualization: define tag standards, asset hierarchy, metadata, and templates (Aveva (formerly: OSIsoft) and PI/AF) so data is analysis-ready and consistently modelled across sites.
· Use-case intake & translation: partner with operations/maintenance SMEs to define problems, success metrics, and data requirements that drive measurable reliability and cost outcomes.
· Supports EAM data migration technical lead: own mapping, transformation rules, cleansing, validation controls, cutover/runbook, and post-load reconciliation for asset master and related maintenance data.
· Supports Site onboarding technical lead: run site discovery and readiness, confirm prerequisite data/integration needs, coordinate deployment activities, and provide hyper care through stabilization.
· Supports Integration & interoperability: design and support data exchange between historian and EAM/maintenance platforms (APIs/standard interfaces); monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate data flow and data quality issues.
· Analytics enablement: Set up and support sandbox environments for rapid diagnostics, advanced analytics, and model development, including templates for reusability. Understand and develop actionable recommendations to boost up time and reduce TCO.
· Delivery execution: contribute to requirements, solution design, test planning/validation, and change control to move capabilities from build to stable operations.
· Release & partner coordination: align technical changes with product owners, vendors, and partners; manage handoffs and production support expectations.
· Ways of working: author and maintain SOPs/work instructions and support site adoption of standards.
· Continuous improvement: identify process and data quality improvements that increase reliability program effectiveness and reduce recurring support effort.
Qualifications
· One or two years’ experience supporting asset reliability/maintenance, operations, or industrial data/analytics in manufacturing and/or utilities environments.
· Working knowledge of system integration concepts (APIs, interfaces, data quality checks) across OT/IT applications.
· Comfort operating within governed delivery processes (documentation, testing discipline, change control) in a regulated or high-availability environment.
· Strong analytical skills, including statistics and the ability to translate data into operational insights and recommendations.
· Strong cross-functional communication skills with ability to align stakeholders and drive technical decisions to closure.
What Should you have :
· Hands-on experience with Aveva (formerly: OSIsoft) PI System and PI AF, including data modeling and contextualization.
· Direct experience with EAM platforms (e.g., SAP PM, IBM Maximo, Infor EAM, Hexagon) and associated asset master data concepts.
· Experience with common migration tooling/practices (ETL concepts, data profiling, reconciliation methods) for enterprise master data.
· Experience building advanced analytics solutions, including machine learning, and operationalizing models in an industrial context.
· Experience establishing data/asset standards and governance that scale across multiple plants/sites.
· Experience in Windows Server management
· Knowledge of AWS best practices for data engineering and pipeline management
· Familiarity with reliability engineering practices (Reliability Centered Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance/Condition-Based Maintenance, failure modes, criticality, bad actor analysis).
· CMRP is nice to have.
