Procurements mission is to empower Bavarian Nordic’s strategy and growth by best-in-class procurement of materials, equipment, and services that advance our competitive edge, increase profits and reduce time to market.</p><p></p><p><b>The Role</b><br />This role offers the opportunity to drive supplier selection, manage sourcing initiatives, and contribute to a best-in-class procurement function in a dynamic, evolving environment.</p><p></p><p>As Sourcing Specialist. you will own sourcing of direct materials and manage supplier negotiations and contracts. You’ll lead sourcing projects, align with stakeholders across functions, and drive cost savings. Strong procurement and negotiation skills are essential — and pharma experience is preferred. You will work together with a team of seven other colleagues in Procurement in Denmark and with other global Procurement colleagues in Switzerland and Germany.</p><p></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Source raw materials and lead negotiations on high-value contracts</li><li>Negotiate pricing and legal/commercial terms with suppliers</li><li>Drive cost-saving and risk-mitigation sourcing projects</li><li>Consolidate and analyse procurement data (Excel superuser skills needed)</li><li>Drive Procurement cost-out and optimization projects.</li><li>Ensure compliance with GMP and internal SOPs</li><li>Incorporate sustainability principles into sourcing activities and supplier selections to support Bavarian Nordic’s ESG ambitions</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What You Bring</b></p><ul><li>8&#43; years of procurement experience, preferably in pharma (direct materials)</li><li>Strong skills in Procurement Strategies, contract negotiation and legal understanding</li><li>Proven ability to create structure and clarity in a growing organization</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management across many teams</li><li>Excel superuser; skilled in data handling across systems</li><li>Fluent in Danish (mandatory) and English</li></ul><p></p><p>If you thrive in a fast-paced, structured environment, we’d love to hear from you!</p><p></p><p><b>We offer</b> <br />As Sourcing Specialist in Denmark, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact, driving strategic decisions that shape the future of our procurement.</p><p>You will work in an international company with unique technology and a dedicated workforce.
