As a Project Manager (all genders), you will lead the successful implementation of these cutting-edge solutions across the DACH region, while also supporting key digital pathology projects in Iberia. In this customer-facing role, you will work closely with healthcare professionals and project teams to deliver technology that improves diagnostic workflows and ultimately contributes to better patient care.

 

Your role:

• Lead end-to-end Philips Digital Pathology implementation projects, guiding customers through their transition to digital workflows from planning through go-live
• Deliver projects successfully by managing scope, timelines, budgets, quality, compliance, risks, and customer requirements
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, consolidating technical, clinical, integration, and implementation activities aligned with customer contracts and success criteria
• Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and external partners while ensuring effective communication, resource planning, and information flow
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from laboratory staff and clinicians to executive leadership, while leading international project teams
• Oversee project execution, including progress tracking, budget management, change requests, corrective actions, stakeholder reporting, issue resolution, and escalations
• Ensure compliance with project management, business, quality, and regulatory requirements while maintaining accountability for customer acceptance, documentation, schedules, quality, and overall project outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement through forecasting, lessons learned, best-practice sharing, and operational leadership across the Philips Digital Pathology community

 

You should bring the following:

• Experience in project management or a similar role
• Fluency in English, German, and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both remotely and in person
• Experience in Customer Success or a similar customer-facing role, enabling you to act as a trusted partner between Philips and our customers throughout project implementation
• Solid understanding of contract management and the ability to oversee contractual obligations and deliverables
• Financial acumen, including experience managing project margins, business value, and project scope versus effort
• Strong commercial skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders
• Business awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities and add value for customers
• Confidence in leading technically complex projects and collaborating with technical teams

 

Preferred Qualifications:

The following qualifications would be advantageous:

• Certification in a recognized project management methodology (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
• Experience delivering or supporting healthcare IT projects

 

The job requires business travel of 25%. The position requires a high degree of autonomy, while functioning as a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside of Philips. Strong and positive relationships with customers are critical skills for success. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills are necessary to successfully present the Philips message to individuals and groups in a professional manner.

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is 75,336.00€ – 85,744.64€ and is governed by the applicable Collective Labour Agreement. The stated salary range reflects the salary progression within the relevant pay grade under the Collective Labour Agreement. New employees are generally hired at the entry level of the respective pay grade.
