Upgrade to Pro — $25/moAs a Software Technologist I, you will lead software development activities across the software development lifecycle by analyzing requirements, influencing software design, developing scalable automation solutions and delivering high-quality software using modern software engineering practices. You will design, develop and maintain automation solutions supporting software deployment, engineering workflows and system integration across Philips Patient Monitoring solutions.
Your role:
Develop deployment automation using C#, .NET, PowerShell, Python and object-oriented programming principles while promoting software engineering best practices.
Drive CI/CD, Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, Git and release automation initiatives to improve deployment efficiency, engineering productivity and software quality.
Identify manual engineering processes and improve them through reusable automation solutions, engineering tooling and workflow optimization.
Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), environment provisioning, configuration management and deployment automation solutions.
Improve observability through logging, monitoring, analytics, performance dashboards and operational insights to enhance system reliability and engineering productivity.
Develop automation solutions supporting Windows environments, networking technologies (DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP) and engineering infrastructure.
Support virtualization and cloud platforms including VMware, Nutanix, AWS and Azure while contributing to scalable engineering infrastructure.
Develop solutions using XML, JSON, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, React or similar technologies where applicable.
Conduct comprehensive code reviews, create and maintain technical documentation, and lead software defect investigations through debugging, log analysis and root cause analysis to improve software quality, reliability and long-term maintainability.
Evaluate, adopt and promote AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code while exploring modern automation techniques to improve engineering productivity and deployment efficiency.
Collaborate with Software, Verification, Systems Engineering, DevOps, IT and Quality teams while actively participating in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical guidance, mentor engineers and drive software engineering best practices through technical reviews, design discussions and knowledge sharing.
You're the right fit if:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology or an equivalent discipline.
2. 5–8 years of experience in software development, system automation, deployment automation, DevOps or related engineering disciplines.
3. Strong experience in object-oriented programming, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation framework development and Agile software development is preferred.
4. Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, Communication and Cross-functional Collaboration Skills
