The position is based in <b>Bangalore</b>, a key hub supporting innovation and collaboration across Philips.</p><p></p><p>We are seeking a <b>Senior Software Developer</b> to join our high-performing team and contribute to key projects in the <b>Hospital Patient Monitoring</b> domain. The ideal candidate will have <b>expertise in C&#43;&#43; based application development, technical design, debugging, and software quality assurance</b>. You will be responsible for <b>designing, optimizing, and delivering scalable solutions</b>.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Analyze and understand <b>software/functional requirements</b> to design and develop <b>high-quality C&#43;&#43; applications</b>.</p></li><li><p>Owning technical decisions and ensure scalable, high-performance solutions.</p></li><li><p>Write <b>efficient, maintainable code</b> following best practices and conduct <b>code reviews</b>.</p></li><li><p>Integrating applications with other corporate systems and with third party software</p></li><li><p>Implement <b>developer-level testing</b> (unit, component) to ensure software reliability.</p></li><li><p>Writing component tests using Google Test (GTest) with Gherkin syntax following behavior-driven development (BDD) principles.</p></li><li><p>Designing and maintaining automated test scripts.</p></li><li><p>Creating and executing <b>test plans, test protocols</b>, and <b>test reports</b>.</p></li><li><p>Integrating automated tests into <b>CI/CD pipelines</b>.</p></li><li><p>Monitoring defects and maintaining test environments.</p></li><li><p>Create technical documentation and comply with <b>development policies</b>.</p></li><li><p>Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve <b>complex software issues</b> efficiently.</p></li><li><p>Stay updated with <b>technical advancements</b> and advocate best practices within the team.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Bachelor/Master of Engineering </b>in the field of<b> Computer Science </b>or equivalent.</p></li><li><p><b>6&#43; years of hands-on experience</b> in <b>software development</b> using <b>modern C&#43;&#43; versions (C&#43;&#43;11/14/17/20)</b></p></li><li><p>Strong proficiency in <b>OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)</b> and <b>software design patterns</b>.</p></li><li><p>Experience in <b>memory management, performance tuning, and debugging</b>.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with <b>Linux, Windows, or embedded systems development</b>.</p></li><li><p>Experience with <b>database integration, APIs, networking protocols</b>.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with  Catch2 with GTest, Pytest with BDD.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in <b>GitHub, CI/CD pipelines</b>, and Agile/SAFe methodologies.</p></li><li><p>Excellent <b>problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills</b>.</p></li><li><p>Strong <b>communication, documentation, and collaboration skills</b>.</p></li><li><p>Work experience in <b>healthcare systems</b> or <b>real-time applications</b>.</p></li><li><p>Basic understanding of <b>medical technology &amp; human physiology</b> (preferred).</p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p></p><p><b>How we work together</b><br />We believe that we are better together than apart.
