Software Solutions Test Engineer

The ideal candidate can analyse and debug software-related product issues, collaborate closely with Product Management and R&amp;D on testability, and help evolve our development processes and tools. Preference will be given to candidates who can also perform Scrum Master responsibilities to facilitate agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement &amp; automation. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, and/or Jama for planning, traceability, and defect management is expected.<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Execute functional, integration, system, and regression tests; create and maintain test cases and data.</li><li>Consult Product Managers and R&amp;D on requirement testability; define clear acceptance criteria.</li><li>Verify requirements for completeness, consistency, and standards compliance; maintain bidirectional traceability.</li><li>Participate in design reviews; identify potential technical risks, design flaws, and testability gaps.</li><li>Analyse, reproduce, and debug software-related product issues; drive root cause with development teams and verify fixes.</li><li>Plan, estimate, coordinate, and track testing activities in your area; communicate status, risks, and coverage (Define and implement the overall test strategy for projects or release).</li><li>Analyse customer feedback and product complaints; translate insights into test improvements and backlog items.</li><li>Contribute to the evolution and implementation of product development processes, tools, and quality practices.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product Manager, Developers, Technical Writers, Project Managers, QA) to ensure release readiness.</li><li>Drive test automation initiatives and process improvements.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Around 5&#43; years in software testing with strong hands-on test design and execution.</li><li>Proven experience in requirements analysis, acceptance criteria definition, and traceability.</li><li>Strong defect lifecycle management and debugging skills; ability to reproduce complex issues.</li><li>Proficiency with Azure DevOps &amp; Jira; familiarity with Jama or similar requirements tools.</li><li>Experience creating test plans/strategies and applying risk-based testing.</li><li>Ability to analyse requirements and derive comprehensive test scenarios.</li><li>Experience in test automation.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills with a strong quality mindset.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability and willingness to work across all phases of the development lifecycle and support post-release issues.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Experience serving as a Scrum Master; certification (CSM, PSM) is a plus.</li><li>Test automation experience (e.g., UI: Selenium/Playwright; API: REST clients/Postman; unit/integration frameworks).</li><li>Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices</li><li>Familiarity with Azure &amp; AWS cloud.</li><li>Experience in regulated or safety-critical environments with formal quality processes.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who we are</b>: We are a team of more than 72,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries.
