You could, for example:</span></p><ul><li><span>Design, develop, and maintain security tools for hardening, configuring and patching critical platforms.</span></li><li><span>Programming, mainly in C# .NET and PowerShell scripts</span></li><li><span>Hardware firewall configuration and deployment</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system and network security requirements, implementing effective controls to safeguard data and systems.</span></li><li><span>Assist with the preparation of training materials and user instructions for personnel involved with the security and deployment of our laboratory products and systems.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Keys to Success</span></b></p><p><span>To succeed in this role, you are agile, resilient, and take ownership of your development. You are a great teammate who finds it easy to collaborate and you enjoy leading and motivating your team members.</span></p><p><span>Thermo Fisher Scientific is a global company, and you will be working in a team that wants to have fun at work while supporting each other to build phenomenal products.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Education</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Preferred education level: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields. </span></li></ul><p><b><span>Experience</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Solid experience in application security for Windows platforms</span></li><li><span>Solid experience in Windows application development using C#, .NET and WPF</span></li><li><span>Experience with hardware firewall configuration, preferably Juniper and Fortinet</span></li><li><span>Experience in PowerShell and scripting languages, e.g. Python, Ruby, or Perl </span></li><li><span>Familiarity with system and network security tools and vulnerability scanners</span></li><li><span>Experience in VB.NET WinForms is desirable, but not required</span></li><li><span>Some experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines</span></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
