Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Software Integration Engineer to join our Varian business area team. The primary responsibility is to package and integrate internal platform components derived from common platform assets. This role involves close collaboration with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software modules within the Varian ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package and integrate software components from platform assets to support Varian solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product managers to deliver integrated platform components.
  • Develop and maintain integration pipelines, integration tests, tools, and documentation to streamline the build and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring high quality and reliability of software packages.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input regarding integration feasibility and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements relevant to medical software.
  • Continuously improve integration workflows and automation to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

Must Have:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell, C#.net preferred) for automation, transformations and tooling

  • Experience with software integration, packaging, and deployment, preferably in healthcare or medical device software.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS/OpenShift or similar)
  • CI/CD tooling for automated build and deployment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have: -

  • Experience in healthcare IT, medical imaging, or oncology information systems in roles such as integration engineer, interface specialist, or interoperability consultant
  • Strong, hands-on experience with DICOM and HL7 v2.x messaging (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, MDM, etc.) and familiarity with IHE profiles for imaging and oncology workflows
  • Familiarity with the diagnostic imaging and healthcare domain is highly desirable.
