We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to drive the architecture, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications across our digital R&amp;D platforms. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, mentor multiple pods/teams, promote innovation, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards—all while contributing to Sanofi’s mission of delivering life-changing therapies and vaccines to patients worldwide.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Application Design &amp; Development:</b> Lead design and development of enterprise-scale applications and services, including complex full-stack solutions with scalable frontends, robust backend services, and optimized APIs.</p></li><li><p><b>Technical Delivery &amp; Collaboration:</b> Partner with Design, Data Science, Product, and Platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions using agile methodologies; contribute to architectural discussions and technical solution discovery.</p></li><li><p><b>Quality, Security &amp; Standards:</b> Ensure software quality, implement security-by-design, and maintain compliance with GxP, Data Privacy, and regulatory requirements; establish reusable component libraries and development standards.</p></li><li><p><b>DevOps &amp; Cloud Engineering:</b> Drive CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud deployment (AWS/Azure), monitoring, and automation to optimize delivery and operational efficiency.</p></li><li><p><b>Mentorship &amp; Team Leadership:</b> Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, manage multiple pods/teams, foster knowledge sharing, and promote a culture of innovation and technical excellence.</p></li><li><p><b>Continuous Improvement &amp; Innovation:</b> Stay current with emerging technologies, propose process improvements, lead proof-of-concepts, and contribute to innovation initiatives.</p></li></ul><p><b>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</p></li><li><p>10&#43; years of professional software engineering experience with leadership in full-stack development and enterprise-grade applications.</p></li><li><p>Strong expertise in React.js, Python, Node.js, FastAPI, microservices, RESTful APIs, Decoupled System Designs and WebSocket implementations.</p></li><li><p>Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud-native applications, and DevOps practices.</p></li><li><p>Version control tools Github, Branching strategies</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of software design principles, distributed systems, security, and regulatory compliance (GxP, GDPR).</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to mentor teams, manage multiple pods, and drive cross-functional collaboration.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience in healthcare or life sciences domain is a plus.</p></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1>Pursue <i>progress</i>, discover <i>extraordinary</i></h1><p>Better is out there.
