We are looking for software engineers to build our next generation of products. This is a fast-paced environment working on challenging problems. Your work will impact the lives of people living with diabetes!<br />As a Android Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software applications and assisting others in development.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop Android software applications using JAVA, Kotlin, Compose, and Kotlin Multiplatform.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with the multiple technology and cross-functional groups within and outside the organization including assistance for fellow team members in building and supporting requirements.</p></li><li><p>Analyze and fix issues from the current implemented code.</p></li><li><p>Able to translate customer and market needs to efficient and secure mobile solutions.</p></li><li><p>Design and build out the next generation smart-phone cloud-based platform that can support future patient/device centric products and applications.</p></li><li><p>Perform other engineering duties as required.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><b>Education and Experience: </b></h3><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent education plus experience preferred.</p></li><li><p>3&#43; years Native Android development preferred.</p></li><li><p>Experience in designing and development using Kotlin &amp; Compose SW on Android platform preferred.</p></li><li><p>Ability to quickly grasp &amp; learn new technologies and develop POC/prototypes preferred.</p></li><li><p>Drive and own technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform applications preferred.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Skills and Competencies:</b></p><ul><li><p>Excellent communications skills and extensive experience working with technical teams and management.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Agile software development preferred.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience in successfully launching products in FCC &amp; FDA regulated industries preferred</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated proficiency in developing solutions and platforms that leverage wireless communications and Smart phone technologies.</p></li><li><p>Mobile apps or Cloud apps software development tools is a Nice to Have</p></li><li><p>Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform to work with cross platform application</p></li></ul><p></p><p>NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least three (3) days per week. #LI-Hybrid</p>
