This role is responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with all applicable export control laws and Customs regulations related to international trade. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trade compliance and export control requirements, along with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations.</li><li>Monitor changes in trade regulations and proactively communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.</li><li>Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments, identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, legal, finance, logistics, planning, to ensure compliance throughout the company.</li><li>Provide guidance and training to employees on trade compliance matters, including export control regulations, restricted parties screening and customs requirements, as needed.</li><li>Lead the preparation and management of export control supporting documentation, including MOFCOM filings, End User Certificates (EUC), Non-Military Certificates, Non-Transfer Statements, and record-keeping.</li><li>Manage escalations or trade compliance incidents by organizing meetings, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions.</li><li>Prepare and submit required reports and filings to US or EU counterpart in support of license application. </li><li>Contribute to the implementation of Customs regulations.</li><li>Provide solutions for Customs-related functions, such as the management for AEO certification application and renewal, as well as Customs challenges and defense.</li><li>Monitor and ensures corrective actions derived from external and internal reviews and Customs audits.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in international trade. Business administration or a related field. A master’s degree is plus.</li><li>5-10 years of experience in export control, customs affairs or trade compliance.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of global trade regulations, including US/EU export control, China Customs affairs.</li><li>Strong understanding of trade compliance systems or software.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and implement effective compliance strategies.</li><li>Familiar with AEO certification, import/export management, Custom audit etc.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft office applications and ERP System ( e.g. SAP )</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
