Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.<h2>MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE</h2><ul><li>Perform new customers and laboratory site inspections for new contract/ tender preparations and design for new installations.</li><li>Provide Level I and Level II service (complex service interventions requiring more than 4 hours of labor).</li><li>Installation of instruments, AbbottLink, and automation.</li><li>Perform IQOQ (Installation Qualification Operation Qualification) procedures during and after installation.</li><li>Assist with customer business reviews.</li><li>Schedule, perform, and document hardware and software updates (TSBs) requiring more than 2 hours.</li><li>Deliver basic customer operator introductory training post install or post hardware or software upgrade.</li><li>Perform basic technical coaching and training for Abbott Ambassadors.</li><li>Service Sales and Service Cost Management.</li><li>Spare Parts and inventory management.</li><li>Timely submitting and update reporting system (e.g. CMS Next).</li><li>Comply to Abbott Quality and Regulatory Compliance and policies.</li><li>Any other tasks assigned by management from time to time.</li></ul><h2>REQUIREMENTS</h2><ul><li>Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/ Bioengineering or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering is preferred.</li><li>Min 1 years' experience in Field Service Engineering from relevant industries such as diagnostics/medical device/ semiconductor etc.</li><li>Fresh Graduates are also welcomed to apply</li><li>Must be willing to be on rotational standby after work hours and work overtime when required to resolve urgent service issues.</li><li>Successful engagement with customers, specifically key stakeholders and lab staff.</li><li>Excellent product and industry knowledge, experience and process skills of the business functions service delivery.</li><li>Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues, technical expert for product line responsibility.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, experience in use of analytical tools and software.</li><li>Coaching and training skills.</li></ul>Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
