We are committed to making a difference for our organization, our client partners, and the patients we serve.<br /><br />We are seeking a Senior Talent Specialist with proven University Relations &amp; Recruiting (UR&amp;R) experience to join our Early Talent team. In this role, you will serve as a key talent partner across the business, working closely with and reporting to the Senior Manager, Early Talent, to design and execute high-impact campus recruitment strategies. This role is hands-on, campus-facing, and requires deep expertise in building and sustaining long-term university partnerships that deliver strong pipelines of high-caliber early talent.</p><p></p><h2>How You’ll Make an Impact</h2><ul><li>Partner with the Senior Manager, Early Talent to align university recruiting strategies with strategic workforce planning initiatives across Groups, Divisions, and Business Units.</li><li>Lead end-to-end recruitment for Leadership Development Programs and Early Talent roles, from outreach and engagement through offer and onboarding.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with university career centers, deans, professors, and student organizations to strengthen our talent pipeline.</li><li>Frequent travel (up to 50% during peak recruiting seasons) to universities nationwide to host and attend recruiting events, networking sessions, employer panels, and on-campus interviews.</li><li>Cultivate year-round partnerships with University Alumni networks to drive event participation, secure referrals, and support offer closing.</li><li>Partner with Employer Brand to develop and deliver marketing content, presentations, and branded materials for campus events — ensuring a consistent, compelling presence that positions Thermo Fisher as an employer of choice.</li><li>Co-facilitate Summer programming and support intern conversions.</li><li>Deliver a “white-glove” candidate experience, guiding students through the recruitment process and executing keep-warm strategies for future hiring needs.</li><li>Leverage ATS/CRM tools (Workday, Phenom People, Handshake) to manage pipelines, track engagement, and report ROI on university partnerships.</li><li>Support alternate channels recruitment and pipelining efforts such as Veteran and trade program hiring.</li></ul><h2></h2><p><b>Office Locations</b></p><p>This role is a fully onsite opportunity and can be based at one of the following Thermo Fisher Scientific office locations:</p><ul><li>Waltham, MA</li><li>Pittsburgh, PA</li><li>Carlsbad, CA</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Compensation</h2><p>$90,000 – $120,000 plus annual incentive plan, with salary aligned to cost-of-living expectations.</p><h2></h2><h2>Start Date</h2><p>March 2026 – April 2026.</p><p></p><h2>How You’ll Get Here</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required, MBA / Master&#39;s Degree preferred. 4&#43; years of hands-on, Early Talent and Campus Recruitment experience supporting a large, global organization. Life Sciences or STEM-related industry experience preferred.</li><li>Proven track record of developing and managing campus recruiting programs, including relationship-building with faculty, student organizations, and career services.</li><li>Flexibility to travel up to 50% during peak recruiting seasons and work flexible hours for evening or early-morning events.</li><li>Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner with internal functions such as Employer Brand and Talent Management to deliver a unified strategy.</li><li>Experience using key UR&amp;R recruitment tools and platforms (Workday, Phenom People, Handshake).</li><li>Ability to apply Key Performance Indicators to measure recruiting success and continuously improve strategies.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence, executive presence, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.</li></ul><h2></h2><p>If this sounds like you, we&#39;d love to hear from you!</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Compensation and Benefits</b></u></p>The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $90,000.00–$120,000.00.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
