It involves executing the organization’s strategic Source-to-Contract plan, which includes maintaining supplier relationships, conducting sourcing events, negotiating contracts, authoring contracts, and managing contract activities.</p><p></p><p>The Senior Specialist works to identify and address the needs of internal stakeholders, contributes improvements to procurement strategies and remains abreast of current market trends.</p><p>This is a seasoned individual contributor, who works independently with minimal supervision.</p><h2></h2><h2><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h2><ul><li><p>Conducts the day-to-day operations of the Source-to-Contract function, including sourcing event management, price and other contract terms negotiation, contract drafting and execution, and stakeholder management activities. Delivers against defined Service Levels.</p></li><li><p>Perform data analytics, forecast demand, and identify baseline for purchasing that meet prioritized business requirement. Understand your data.</p></li><li><p>Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory, legal and company policies and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with multiple departments in the development and execution of strategies and plans that improve the organization’s profitability and competitive position, utilizing market intelligence, risk assessments, and total cost projections.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Drives continuous improvements in user experience, effectiveness, and efficiency in assigned areas of responsibility.</p></li><li><p>Supports development and implementation of automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives within assigned area of responsibility.</p></li><li><p>Creates Value by developing strong, value-added working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers with a view to pro-actively understand and constructively influence their needs and expectations.</p></li><li><p>Mentors and collaborates amongst a team of Source-to-Contracting specialists.</p></li><li><p>Understands and applies Johnson &amp; Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Qualifications</b></h2><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University degree is required.</p></li><li><p>An MBA or further advanced degree is preferred.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Experience and Skills:</b></h2><p><b>Required:</b></p><ul><li><p>4-6 years of Procurement, Finance, or other relevant business experience.</p></li><li><p>Collaboration, Communication &amp; Influencing Skills: Should be regarded as a constructive player representing Source-to-Contract and overall procurement in various teams within the company and outside.
