As a Senior Specialist, IT Vendor Management Office (VMO), you will play a key role in managing strategic supplier relationships, contract governance, performance oversight, and financial transparency across Baxter's technology partner ecosystem. You will help drive operational discipline, support executive decision-making, and ensure vendors deliver expected business outcomes and value.

The Global Information Technology organization is focused on delivering innovative technology solutions and enabling business transformation across the enterprise.

The Vendor Management Office (VMO) is responsible for establishing consistent governance across Baxter's strategic technology suppliers by connecting contract management, supplier performance, financial oversight, risk management, and executive reporting into a unified operating model. The team partners closely with IT leaders, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Security, and external suppliers to ensure accountability, transparency, and value realization across the supplier lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

• Serve as a key contributor within the IT Vendor Management Office, supporting governance activities for strategic technology suppliers.
• Manage and maintain visibility across supplier contracts, renewals, obligations, amendments, and key commercial terms.
• Coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Service Performance Reviews (SPRs), and governance forums with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs, scorecards, service credits, and improvement plans.
• Support contract renewal planning, vendor rationalization initiatives, and sourcing activities in partnership with Procurement.
• Develop executive reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into vendor performance, financial commitments, risks, and upcoming decisions.
• Identify, track, and escalate supplier-related risks, compliance concerns, and operational issues.
• Partner with Finance to support forecasting, spend visibility, budget planning, invoice governance, and value realization initiatives.
• Maintain data quality and governance standards across supplier, contract, and performance management repositories.
• Drive process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement across VMO practices and operating procedures.
• Collaborate across IT, Procurement, Security, Legal, Finance, and Business stakeholders to ensure alignment on supplier strategies and governance objectives.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory requirements related to third-party management and supplier oversight.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Vendor Management, IT Operations, Procurement, Contract Management, Strategic Sourcing, Program Management, or related disciplines.
• Experience working with strategic suppliers, managed service providers, software vendors, or outsourcing partners.
• Strong understanding of vendor lifecycle management and governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of contract management principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and supplier performance management.
• Experience developing executive-level dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and operational reporting.
• Familiarity with supplier risk management, compliance programs, audit requirements, and third-party governance.
• Experience working within highly matrixed global organizations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform data into business insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools.
• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools such as Coupa, Icertis, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of IT outsourcing, software licensing, managed services, and vendor financial governance is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
