People who are able to recognize and foster the diverse talents within their team, thereby creating strong and efficient partnerships.</h2></li></ul>What you will do-<ul><li>Development and implementation of strategies and goals for assigned commodities in support of overall divisional business objectives.</li><li>Develop and lead your team based in US and Germany as well as cross functional teams to guide the process of strategic commodity plans, consolidation strategy, and spend/supply assessments taking into account total product life cycle needs.</li><li>Leads sourcing analysis and selection process and performs cost analyses and make versus buy analyses as required. </li><li>Leads development of contract strategy. Negotiates, establishes, monitors and enforces supplier contracts and agreements. </li><li>Identify supply base risk and develop/implement mitigation plans including market assessments, supplier's financial assessments, social responsibility, environment, ethics etc.</li><li>Obtain and communicate market condition information and technology trends related to commodities and suppliers. Utilize market trends to identify and implement appropriate cost controls and business strategy changes.</li><li>Lead the development and implementation of strategies and goals for assigned commodities in support of overall divisional business objectives.</li><li>Create and implement enterprise wide metrics, tools and processes to optimize sourcing and supplier activities.</li><li>Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization including Executive Leadership.</li></ul>What you need-<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering or related field, required</li><li>Leadership experience is a must have</li><li>7+ years in Supply Management with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development, highly preferred</li><li>Engineering/technical background, highly preferred</li><li>Knowledge and application of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, contractual terms, and contract administration</li><li>Knowledge of continuous improvement and cost reduction methodologies</li><li>Experience with supplier metrics & measurement methodologies and supporting systems.</li><li>Strong skills in leadership, negotiations, influencing, communication & presentation, project management, troubleshooting & problem solving, analysis, strategic thinking, and collaborative team building.</li><li>Strong judgment with the ability to make and communicate timely and sound decisions</li><li>Fluent language skills in German and English speaking and writing</li><li>Valid car driving liscence class B</li><li>Diversity is important to us.
