Our continued success depends on it!</p></div></div></div></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">Insulet is looking for a self-motivated </span><b><span style="font-size:14px">Sr Software Test Engineer</span></b><span style="font-size:14px"> to be a part of the testing (manual and automation) efforts related to product development and product modifications. This position assists in the software quality assurance efforts related to new product development and product modifications for the Research and Development group. The position is responsible for ensuring that new products have been effectively and efficiently verified and validated prior to their release for shipment and that these designs effectively meet documented and implied user needs and requirements. Software quality assurance efforts are lifecycle-oriented beginning during product requirements development and continuing throughout its lifetime.</span><br /><span style="font-size:14px"> </span><br /><span style="font-size:14px">This position will also be part of validating software development tools to improve the overall quality of software, including peer reviews, software hazard analysis, requirements traceability, software code analysis, defect tracking, software metrics, configuration management, and software tool validations.</span></p><p> </p><p><b><span style="font-size:14px">Responsibilities</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Develop and maintain test database for automated validation test of software revisions.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Creating and executing test plans, manual and automated test cases and generating test reports.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Creating use cases and identifying gaps in use cases/test cases.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Develop and execute test suite for iOS mobile application.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Influence the definition of requirements and software design to maximize testability.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Develop and extend test cases (protocols) and plans as software application features evolve.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Build test frameworks and methodologies that will define the testing process used as part of the agile software development process.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Work closely with the software development team to identify and correct defects.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Collaborate with Development, QA and IT teams.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Participate in product design reviews.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Performs other duties as required.</span></p></li></ul><p><br /><b><span style="font-size:14px">Education and Experience:</span></b><br /><span style="font-size:14px">Requirements:</span><br /><span style="font-size:14px">• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar field preferred.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">• 5&#43; years hands on experience in testing is required.</span></p><h2><br /><span style="font-size:14px">Skills and Competencies:</span></h2><p><span style="font-size:14px">• In depth knowledge of software testing methodology, test development, and test execution is required.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">• Strong software skills including C ,C&#43;&#43; Java, Python or TestNG.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">• Software test group experience.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">• Proficiency with source control, continuous integration and testing methods (i.e., Git, Perforce).</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">• Familiarity with Continuous Build Systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">• Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA regulations and international standards applicable to medical device software development, verification and validation a plus.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:14px">NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least three (3) days per week. #LI-Hybrid</span></p>
