Service Excellence designs, implements, and maintains scalable, efficient, and user-centric Enterprise Service Management (ESM) capabilities that connect Sanofi employees and partners with operations through standardized frameworks and solutions</i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i>The Senior ServiceNow Developer serves as the technical owner of ServiceNow platform development, ensuring <b>optimal implementation of solutions across service management processes</b>. This role is responsible for <b>designing, developing, and continuously improving ServiceNow applications</b> to drive business value throughout the service lifecycle. The Senior Developer manages complex technical implementations while leading strategic development initiatives that require sophisticated coding and platform transformation.</i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i><b>Main responsibilities:</b></i></p><p><i><b> </b></i></p><p><i><b>ServiceNow Platform Development</b></i></p><p><i>Design and implement ServiceNow solutions in collaboration with DIGITAL teams, in alignment with Service Designers and Business Analysts</i></p><p><i>Take accountability for code quality, performance, and adherence to development standards</i></p><p><i>Develop and maintain applications, workflows, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform</i></p><p><i>Establish technical roadmaps that support business objectives and enhance service delivery capabilities</i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i><b>Solution Architecture and Implementation</b></i></p><p><i>Guide development teams and business analysts on optimal technical approaches and provide expert implementation support</i></p><p><i>Ensure coding best practices are followed in every sprint/delivery</i></p><p><i>Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed applications and processes</i></p><p><i>Coordinate with third-party vendors to manage technical activities and ensure timely completion</i></p><p><i>Drive continuous improvement of implemented solutions based on performance metrics and user feedback</i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i><b>Technical Leadership</b></i></p><p><i>Lead or contribute to strategic development projects requiring complex coding and platform customization</i></p><p><i>Coordinate activities with cross-functional team members to drive project completion and technical excellence</i></p><p><i>Establish and maintain development standards, methodologies, and governance</i></p><p><i>Identify and mitigate technical risks through proactive planning and code reviews</i></p><p><i><b> </b></i></p><p><i><b>Stakeholder Management and Technical Advocacy</b></i></p><p><i>Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions</i></p><p><i>Build partnerships across the organization to champion effective technical approaches</i></p><p><i>Facilitate technical workshops and collaborative sessions to align stakeholders on solution architecture</i></p><p><i>Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and support</i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i><b>Innovation and Continuous Improvement</b></i></p><p><i>Identify emerging ServiceNow capabilities and technologies that could benefit the organization</i></p><p><i>Recommend process and technology improvements based on platform capabilities and industry best practices</i></p><p><i>Implement measurement frameworks to evaluate solution effectiveness</i></p><p><i>Drive adoption of new capabilities through technical enablement and knowledge sharing</i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i>About you</i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i><b>Experience</b></i></p><p><i>5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and customization</i></p><p><i>Proven track record in implementing and managing ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments</i></p><p><i>Experience with ServiceNow modules including HRSD, CSM, SPM and platform capabilities</i></p><p><i>Background in service management with focus on technical solution delivery</i></p><p><i>Experience in a global, cross-functional environment</i></p><p><i>ServiceNow certifications preferred (Administrator, Developer, Implementation Specialist)</i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i><b>Soft skills</b></i></p><p><i>Well-organized with ability to structure, prioritize, and meet deadlines</i></p><p><i>Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts at different organizational levels</i></p><p><i>Hands-on approach to problem-solving and solution implementation</i></p><p><i>Effective business partnering and customer relationship management</i></p><p><i>Strategic thinking with ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes</i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i><b>Technical skills</b></i></p><p><i>Advanced in ServiceNow platform development (JavaScript, business rules, UI policies, client scripts)</i></p><p><i>Advanced in ServiceNow administration and configuration</i></p><p><i>Advanced in integration technologies (REST, SOAP, MID Server)</i></p><p><i>Advanced in workflow design and implementation</i></p><p><i>Advanced in data privacy principles and security best practices</i></p><p><i>Working knowledge of ITIL, LEAN, and Continuous Improvement frameworks</i></p><p><i>Understanding of data modelling and database design techniques</i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i><b>Languages</b>: English (fluent)</i></p><p><i> </i></p><p><i>Pursue progress, discover extraordinary</i></p><p></p><p></p><p><i>Better is out there.
