What you will do:

• Recruits, leads and mentors junior team of scientists.
• Understands product purification by means of FPLC chromatography (including but not limited to SEC, IEC, ProtA).
• Develops and reviews workplans involving SEC, UPLC-MS, HPLC, SDS-PAGE, endotoxin testing techniques and sets standards for high quality work.
• Monitors documentation of results in ELN
• Approves high-quality production reports (in PowerPoint format) and product certificates (CoTs).
• Communicate results with broader stakeholder community.
• Provide general support to lab operations.
• Serves as SME in project team meetings with customers.
• Adhere to company policies and quality & safety standards and observes regulatory and safety compliance in the laboratory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

• Team management skills
• Experience with various protein purification and analysis techniques including SEC, IEX, affinity chromatography (protein A/L, Ni-NTA), SDS-PAGE, RP-HPLC and MS
• Experience with handling antibodies, including modification, purification and analysis.
• Familiarity with various bioconjugation chemistry techniques and preferably hands-on experience
• Strong commitment to laboratory work and project delivery
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong team-player mentality
