This role leads a small team of PSO Coordinators and acts as the central driving force for <b>project analytics, technology enablement, and operational efficiency</b> across Product Development programs. The role combines <b>project management experience</b>, <b>product development domain knowledge</b>, and <b>advanced digital automation skills</b> (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Smartsheet) to elevate how the PMO delivers insights, reporting, and workflow automation. This position plays a critical role in <b>modernizing the PMO</b>, enabling predictive decision-making, and driving <b>smart automation</b> initiatives that reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and increase execution speed.</span></p><p><b><span>2. Key Responsibilities</span></b></p><p><b><span>A. PMO Operations & Project Support</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Lead, coach, and manage a team of <b>PSO Coordinators</b> supporting multiple projects across the product development lifecycle.</span></li><li><span>Oversee <b>project planning, tracking, financials, documentation control, and reporting</b>, ensuring alignment with PMO standards</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Work with PMs to ensure all project reporting needs (status updates, dashboards, PMO reports) are consistently delivered with quality & reporting happens via <b>Smartsheet</b> (project plans, execution dashboards, risk logs).</span></li></ul><p><b><span>B. Data Analytics & Reporting</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Own and deliver <b>enterprise-grade reports and dashboards</b> using: </span><ul><li><b><span>Power BI</span></b><span> (portfolio KPIs, milestone health, risk heatmaps, capacity reports)</span></li><li><b><span>Smartsheet dashboards</span></b><span> (automated project health summaries, critical path insights)</span></li></ul></li><li><span>Establish automated data flows and reporting pipelines using <b>Power Query / DAX</b>.</span></li><li><span>Improve visibility of project performance through actionable insights and trend analytics.</span></li></ul><ul><li><b><span>L</span></b><span>ead PMO digitization initiatives using the <b>Power Platform</b>: </span></li></ul><ul><li><ul><li><span>Build <b>Power Apps</b> to replace manual trackers and forms.</span></li><li><span>Use <b>Power Automate</b> to eliminate repetitive tasks (approvals, reminders, workflows, updates).</span></li></ul></li><li><span>Drive integration of <b>Smartsheet</b> with Power BI, Power Automate, MS Teams, and SharePoint for seamless execution.</span></li><li><span>Recommend new tools and methods to improve PMO efficiency (predictive analytics, AI-assisted reporting, automated health scoring).</span></li></ul><p><b><span>C. Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Standardize PMO reporting cadence, templates, documentation, and governance models.</span></li><li><span>Identify inefficiencies across PMO processes and propose automation opportunities to reduce effort and cycle time.</span></li><li><span>Contribute to PMO capability building—training PMs and PSO coordinators on digital tool usage. </span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>3. Required Skills & Experience</span></b></p><p><b><span>A. Technical Skills</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Demonstrated expertise in <b>Power BI</b> (DAX, modeling, advanced visualization).</span></li><li><span>Strong proficiency in: </span><ul><li><b><span>Power Apps</span></b><span> (canvas & model-driven apps)</span></li><li><b><span>Power Automate</span></b><span> (flows, triggers, connectors)</span></li><li><b><span>MS Excel (advanced)</span></b></li><li><b><span>Smartsheet</span></b><span> (formulas, automated workflows, dashboards, reports)</span></li></ul></li><li><span>Strong understanding of <b>SharePoint</b>, <b>Teams</b>, and cross-system integrations.</span></li><li><span>Experience using or supporting <b>PLM/Document Control systems</b> (Windchill preferred).</span></li></ul><p><b><span>B. Project Management & PMO Knowledge</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Overall 12+ Experience of which 8+ years working in <b>Project Management</b>, PMO, or Product Development environments.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Solid understanding of end-to-end <b>PDLM / Product Development</b> processes (concept–launch–sustaining).</span></li><li><span>Experience supporting or managing large cross-functional programs.</span></li><li><span>Ability to read and interpret project schedules, risks, mitigation plans, resource demands, and budgets.</span></li><li><span>Prior exposure to stage-gate processes</span></li></ul><p><b><span>C. Leadership & Behavioral Skills</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Demonstrated experience leading small teams or coordinators.</span></li><li><span>Strong influencing skills; able to partner with global R\&D, Quality, Marketing, and Operations.</span></li><li><span>Ability to simplify complex data into clear executive-level insights.</span></li><li><span>High ownership, discipline, and proactive problem-solving mindset.</span></li><li><span>Customer-centric, collaborative, and passionate about process excellence.</span></li></ul><p><b><span>4. Education</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Management, or related field).</span></li><li><span>Master’s degree preferred.</span></li><li><span>PMP, CAPM, Agile certifications, or similar credential is an added advantage.</span></li></ul><p><b><span>5.
