Upgrade to Pro — $25/moThis individual will be responsible and accountable for end-to-end brand management for Hepatology to drive growth and meet business and profitability objectives through development and effective execution of marketing strategies as well as excellence in deployment of operational plans, salesforce tactical implementation.
This individual is also expected to manage complexity of internal control frameworks, local operating procedures, and alignment with the promotional and marketing guidelines.
Performance Measures
Develop the annual and three-year marketing strategy for the assigned portfolio, drive business growth, and proactively identify key opportunities and develop innovative and strong plan
Provide on-going analysis/conclusions of the competitive environment that have potential impact to business and support with relevant action plans
Ensure demand forecast and financial forecast are accurate, up to date and aligned to assumptions made
Evaluate and develop long, medium, and short-term marketing plans and budgets to ensure all marketing costs are reviewed and controlled within agreed parameters and marketing spends are delivering positive ROI
Ensure effective cross functional engagement and alignment of strategies/plans with other internal functions including Commercial, Medical Affairs, Corp/Govt Affairs, Regulatory, Pricing, Market Analysis and Supply Mangers/Demand Managers to ensure outstanding execution.
Work with Medical to develop & implement External Experts (EE) engagement strategy leveraging available face-to-face and digital channels to support brand strategy.
Responsible for supporting salesforce through providing materials, key tactical plan and trainings
Where relevant develop and execute Tender/Govt Procurement/Govt Listings Strategic Plans strategy with cross functional team
Develop and drive content for digital and MCM activities
Stakeholders engagement to manage senior leaders and cross functional teams.
Ensuring effective adherence and implementation of Governance processes and policies.
Develop and execute above industry standard disease awareness campaign with focused in consumer journey and robust understanding of media, social media and consumer activation channels
Metrics
To lead pre-launch planning and execution of launch plan for the brand in close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. medical, supply, quality, market access)
To deliver Marketing Brand and Product Execution Plan outcomes and key performance indicators in line with Therapy Area Strategies.
To drive growth and performance by brand and therapy area in the short, medium, and long term
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Pharmaceutical or Business
Must possess sales and product management experience and ideally in launching brands in pharma.
Prior experience in Hepatology therapy area is preferred.
Min. 3 years of marketing experience in Pharmaceutical industry
Experience in end to end brand management
Strong Business and scientific acumen- Sound facilitator and assertive skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Has demonstrated planning ability and strong organizational skills
Strong analytical and project management skill
Self-starter and solution oriented
Has demonstrated professional and ethical behavior
Ability to work independently
Has demonstrated integrity in previous roles- Sound judgement
